We stayed here for 1 night as part of a wedding party (venue nearby) & have to say we didn't know what to expect having read some previous reviews. The hotel is lovely from the outside & the bar area/restaurant & hallway/stairs are all nice & clean. Obviously new carpet has been recently fitted throughout. We were greeted at reception...

Visited during a family wedding Booked wirh previous owners, Janet and Margaret what have you done? The new owner is a pompous abrupt man and very rude his dolly bird with the short skirt (ive seen belts bigger!) Was multitasking between being a chef, receptionist and general brown noser. The restaurant area was dirty and unorganised and the hotel smelt...

Stayed at this hotel for two nights. The web-based pictures led us to believe it was modern and up to date...... However, on arrival we were very disappointed. The first room we were allocated was in great need of TLC The bathroom radiator was rusty, the walls badly stained and the carpet dirty. The next room offered was a little...

The dirty white hall carpets and the rusty bedroom radiator let this small modern hotel down. Bed comfort and size ok,breckfast below average. Location. .? Why would any one want to stay here unless like me you could not get in first choice!

The hotel was clean and comfortable with friendly staff. The hotel is in a quiet location but some good places to eat within a short drive. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Altogether a good place to stay.

Stayed at the Avenue on13th July. Friendly welcome, nice modern room with good shower. Bed was only a standard double so not long enough for guests over 6' foot tall. It's out in the countryside so good sleep quality is guaranteed. Breakfast was enjoyed by our friends who travelled with us, especially liking the local thick cut bacon and small...

I stayed at The Avenue this weekend to attend a wedding at a nearby venue. The hotel was really nice and modern, my room was spotless and very spacious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.... Particularly Dennis who was super helpful from arranging a large check out, sorting out my broken hairdryer and dealing with my dietary requirements....

We booked The Avenue last year under previous ownership, the staff then were very helpful as are the new owners. We stayed from Sat 11th July until Monday 13th July for our wedding at an alternative venue. Some guests including ourselves just stayed the night before the wedding. Our main thanks goes to Dennis, he seemed to be there the...

Don't be misled by the address. Brockhall village is not a traditional village but a expensive private housing estate; to get to the hotel, you have to pass through a manned security barrier (think footballers' wives). The room was clean but not large (e.g. it was difficult to watch the TV). There was no bath only a shower and the...
