Another super meal with friends.
All food served promptly and efficiently by cheerfull staff and as usual at the Oak the PLATES WERE HOT (other outfits please note)
Little wonder the place is always busy .
Nice old inn with multiple rooms which gives it a very pleasant old charm which elated me especially being a Robinsons pub which brought back memories of being in Manchester many years ago. Not just the pub layout and obviously not the food as pubs...More
food was served lovely sandwiches were absolutely beautiful and served with a lovely smile a bit more expensive than some places but well worth it we sat down booked the food and don't take to long every were was nice and clean
Went here yesterday for lunch and was impressed with the lunchtime meal and with the good service we got. As I went with friends we wanted to pay individually but this did not seem a problem for the barman. Would definitely recommend going.
I visit this pub quite often although i have never stayed in the hotel, it's on my list to do.
The food is really good for pub food,there is a grilled chicken breast on the menu with a cheese sauce and its very very good....More

I'm not sure, the one we were in certainly was and I think the rest were too. Best thing to do is call the Royal Oak or email them direct. i'd advise you to book directly through them too as I recall when we looked online it... More

Best thing to do is call the Royal Oak or email them direct. i'd advise you to book directly through them too as I recall when we looked online it appeared they were full up when in fact they weren't. If you do book, I hope you enjoy your stay, it's slap bang in the middle of a lovely town and the breakfasts are first class.
