Spent a lovely Friday evening here at the start of a long weekend hotel hopping between three of James'Places. Check in was smooth to a pretty comfy attic room (mind your head) After a cold and windy visit to Clitheroe we returned for a few drinks in the bar area with its glowing log burner and warm rustic feel. Then...

Forget the Gallic charms of good old Avenue George V in the delightful and romantic city of Paris, with its prestigious Leading Hotel of the World, The Four Seasons George V, it may be exclusive but i bet you can get a room at the drop of a hat ! The Waddy, however, not a prayer. Liken it to getting...

It's was alright, food wasn't as good as it usually is, quality seems to have gone down a little, had sausages, they just seemed like supermarket bought sausages. Service was fine, fire could have done with being a bit more full on as it was a chilly evening.

Have stayed previous and found the rooms, the beer and the food to be excellent. All was well this time. Landlord spoke to me about a previous comment I'd made on Trip Advisor which showed he had a keen interest in his clientele. Could have taken his comments one of two ways. Chose not to have breakfast on this occasion

This was my second visit to this delightful establishment in one of the most prettiest of villages that I have ever stayed in. Waddington is an excellent and ideal place as a base for walks in the Trough of Bowland and the Waddington Arms complements the village in everyway. On arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly professional young...

I've written previous reviews on the Waddy Arms because it's now 38 years since our first visit. It's located in the beautiful village of Waddington with lots of excellent walks and villages to visit in the local area or, you can shop in Clitheroe where most of the shops are independents (try Byrne's wine merchants they have 248 different gins)....
