Had a wonderful weekend. Great friendly staff. Stayed in the newcastle room. Very comfortable bed and ensuite facility. Lovely view from my room of clitheroe castle. The food was tasty and well cooked. Definitely looking forward to a return visit.

Stayed here last Saturday with a friend, excellent welcome from genette the receptionist, who showed us all the amenities and took us to our room, which was amazing, high ceiling, large bed and I mean large, it was six foot!!!! Clean crisp white bed linen and a small and compact en suite with shower. Beautiful views over the river rubble...

Stayed here after a friends wedding at Mitton hall. The price is fair for a basic hotel, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, there was a small TV and kettle in the room I think but we didn't use either. The staff were polite and helpful. Only downside was there was no cooked breakfast, which we thought there...

Fantastic weekend away. Food was plentiful and oh so good breakfast lunch and dinner. Big portions. Good choice. Staff happy to provide for all dietary needs. Staff were all lovely, worked hard and attentive. We had a four bed room and very clean. Couldn't fault it.

What a treat when I arrived at Waddow Hall. It is a beautiful property in an equally beutiful location, with the river Ribble and a Weir at the border of the property, and the Clitheroe Castle 'Keep' in the near distance. I was welcomed by name, by a very helpful and friendly staff member, who guided me to my room,...

Stayed overnight on a Monday for a break. The staff were friendly and helpful. We went for the cheapest room which was an attic room but beds were comfortable. Had a good nights sleep. It was very quiet during the night. Breakfast was good. The Hall overlooks the river Ribble and we watched the heron catching fish on the wier....

Good stay at Waddow Hall for a weekend of walking at the Pendle Walking Festival.Stayed in a budget single room on the top floor, great view of the river and castle beyond, which was perfectly adequate with dinky en suite. No TV in the room but not an issue for me - if you want one the more expensive rooms...

It's not easy to describe the experience of staying at Waddow Hall. First and foremost it's a Girl Guide centre and therefore has quite a few young people undertaking all sorts of activities, so in this respect it doesn't feel like a normal hotel. The building is magnificant, bags of history and interest, but as with all old buildings requiring...
