Visited this beautiful hall today with friends as a retirement celebration. It felt fittingly special, and we enjoyed a glass of champagne too. The surroundings are really lovely, and the tea was beautifully presented. The tables are well situated with plenty of space.
Food is always perfect from an imaginative menu . Service also spot on and the atmosphere is normally excellent . Sadly this visit was spoilt completely by the executive chef Mark sitting down on the closest table to ours with his friend and high powered...More
Called for Sunday Lunch on our way home from visiting friends and sampled the Sunday Lunch set menu which easily satisfied our requirements. The menu was varied but simple, the food was excellent and the hotel/grounds looked impressive.
A lovely location for a wedding. Stayed in the Princess Suite on our first night. The main room had a large double bed and the ajoining room had two single beds. The room overlooked the driveway so we could see guests arriving for the ceremony...More
Super location , great old hall , lovely huge open fire place , fantastic food ,,,,what more does a place have to offer ?
Oh and the rooms are all individual , tasteful and the breakfast is good too :)
