Upon arrival the gentleman who checked us in was friendly, chatty and welcoming. We entered our room and everything seemed to be in order. But in the bathroom was different. The toilet was leaking (we were unaware of this until the morning) The hand wash dispenser was dirty. The bath was stained. It just needed a good scrub!

Very good value for money - clean and comfortable - slightly dated decor wise but it served my purpose well - extremely helpful when making the initial booking. Bedroom was clean and well aired - bed was comfortable

Nice little find near to all the things we wanted to do. Easy to visit family and friends from here with some excellent places to visit. Pity the pub next door closed the kitchen at 8pm as it would have been a good finish to our days out.

Stayed in many travelodges over the years and this one has got to be the worst. Staff friendly couldn't fault them, the room was big and clean but we were put on the quiet floor which was great but the bottom floor! And although being quiet it was the inconsiderate aresholes directly above us that we believe were a heard of elephants banging around for several hours when trying to sleep 😴 on the uncomfortable bed. Needless to say crap nights sleep.

We stayed here for a couple of nights to visit family and cannot fault the place, staff were bright and friendly, rooms lovely and clean and plenty of amenities nearby including a Lidl and Asda and the halfway house pub - would definitely stay again

Disgusting building DO NOT GO!! it’s riddled with mould and damp the staff try to cover up the smell with bleach. It gave me and my daughter an asthma attack! Dog hairs on the carpet and old curtains left in the corner of the room. A burnt out plug in the room and black mould covering the outside of the building and travelodge never refund!!

The cleanliness of the rooms and the surroundings could have been much better. The were overgrown vegetation and garbage left in the room on top of one of the shelves. The carpets are badly worn and a built up dirt were seen in the corners.

Avoid staying here unless you want a dirty room. We arrived just after 7pm and while checking in asked where we can grab food and got told the place next door has food but is very expensive we went to our room to find it was dirty has dog hair all over the floor, hole in the wall, mould in the bathroom and just very rundown. We went back to the front desk and their was no one their so we went to the pub next door for food to find it closes for food already went to back front desk again to find no one was available again. The breakfast boxes I would avoid not worth the money just grab food when out. As we went to check out again no one at front desk I am not even sure anyone was working at this point! if am being honest we where close to leaving the same night we checked in to go to a new hotel it was so bad. If you are looking for somewhere to stay keep looking.

Free parking was an absolute blessing, the reception staff was very helpful and welcoming. Nice and tidy hotel with plenty of towels. Only thing I would like to point out is a Fridge / Freezer could have been an added bonus but again it’s not the end of the world. Overall I was very impressed with everything, specially the rates were more than reasonable. A big thank you to the entire management.

The hotel was as expected, friendly and helpful staff, bed wasn't that comfortable but I was only staying 1 night so not really a problem. Biggest let down was the coffee provided... Not nice so take your own coffee if you're going 😉
