Nice location. Friendly staff. Free parking. Good views. Fair prices for drinks. Large gardens. Good for weddings or any celebration. Ideal photograph location. Perfect area for walking holidays. 15 minutes from M65. I would go again.

Stayed last Sunday and only word for it is BRILLIANT. Great room, great staff and excellent food - oh and a complimentary bottle of a good wine. Fantastic value. Thank you so much, we will make this a regular event.

The location was lovely albeit rather remote. I have given my visit 4 stars as I thought it was rather overpriced and not suitable for people with walking difficulties. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. The bedrooms were adequate but without a safe. Some attention needs to be paid to cleanliness. Used ashtrays on the lovely verandah were...

Stayed for the weekend so we could spend a day exploring the Yorkshire dales on the motorbike. The room was big enough and most importantly clean and had everything we needed. I had asked for a room in the main building and ours overlooked the garden which will be very beautiful in a week or so when all the Rhododendrons...

Booked a room at the Higher Trapp for my husband and I as part of our first wedding anniversary celebrations. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite. The room was beautifully decorated, which brought back lots of happy memories from our wedding reception at the Higher Trapp in April 2016. Superb views of the hotel's gardens and nearby countryside. First class...

Stayed at this hotel for the second time but this time did not get that WOW feeling. Prior to arrival I had asked if we could be located with a view (like last time) but requested a different room as the last one was very small (my living room is bigger). When we arrived at the hotel, firstly greeted with...

It's now the time of year where the location and grounds can be appreciated. But lack of investment in rooms is an issue which is a shame because the staff are generally lovely. Wifi signal also not strong enough.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. excellent food and service in Fitzys Bar, where we had dinner on the Saturday night and lunch on Easter Sunday, Good value for money. Beautiful location with stunning views over the Ribble valley. We have stayed at The Higher Trapp Hotel on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed.
