Arrived at reception to be greeted by Kirsty. This should have been an indication of what was about to come. She was cheerful and enthusiastic. She quickly realised that at 85 we needed help with luggage. She hoisted bags up to the second floor (40 stairs) and showed us to our room. Could not have been more competent. The food...

This is such a lovely hotel. Our room was over looking the sea so a great view. Room was beautiful but the pillows were very hard I spoke to one of the maids who was very helpful in trying to find me one a little softer if which that managed to do without a fuss. We had dinner in the...

The room was lovely, was very large, clean, bright and cosy. The location is right on the seafront and about a 10 minute walk into Whitstable. We will absolutely be staying here again next time we come. Moving onto the breakfast, it was really awful unfortunately, cold, under cooked and a mess but we were so impressed with the hotel...

Great location. Beautiful rooms. Very clean. Breakfast was very tasty and made with local ingredients. Staff were very friendly and helpful with nice small touches such as offering fresh milk for the room. Views from the room were spectacular

Needs refurb. A decent cleaner and more staff who are run off their feet but very nice and helpful. Tired old room. Worth much less. Good breakfast. Not worth £130 more like £60 per night. The room view looked out over depressing car park at back with sheds.

We had a great room with sea views , lots of nice touches like being offered fresh milk for tea and coffee in your room. Room very comfortable and had every thing you needed. Nice comfy bar area and restaurant....

Back to the Marine for a couple of nights for Valentines treat and it did not disappoint. Third time there. Staff very polite and helpful, nice to relax downstairs in the lounge. Room at the top (32) clean and comfortable with lashings of hot water for the shower. Really cold and miserable outside but toasty inside. Breakfast lovely Look forward...

The welcome from reception was warm and efficient and we were taken up to our room in a newly installed lift by another very friendly member of staff who actually refused a tip (politely). The room was nicely refurbished and had secondary glazing. The only drawback was probably the ugliest largest lampshade I have ever seen (see photo) right in...

Stayed overnight, the staff the hotel, the room were all perfect. It's further down the road from whitstable in tankerton the meal we had in the restaurant was lovely and the breakfast was also lovely. The room faced the Seafront (which I'd recommend) as the balcony over gives a lovely view Just great
