Sunday lunch of exceptional quality. I would highly recommend. The service was excellent along with a great selection of wine. The roast beef was cooked well with a good selection of vegetables. One of the best restaurants/pub in Sandwich.

We booked 2 rooms, 1 double and 1 single, double was ok but the single was so small there was not even any drawers or wardrobes, plus the shower/wc was so small it was impossible to stand in and dry yourself and it was very cold as there was only a small wall-mounted fan heater. Heating was not working in... More

This is a, no frills good value, traditional B&B with charming old world décor, roaring fires, good food and ales. The rooms are functional and comfortable. The inn is located centrally in the town, with its own parking. Breakfast is generous and the staff are friendly and helpful.

We arrived and had to ask the pub to put heating on ! It was freezing cold and a wind was blowing round us. Added to this the fillet we had ordered was more like frying steak. As per my usual ratings price value and quality. Food was poor value and the service was also poor and it was so... More

Once a year we meet up with friends at this very good pub in Sandwich. Each year it seems to get better, good food ,very good service and excellent beer and wine. Only wish it was nearer to home. See you next year all being well.

Well, it was sunny, and the dinner in the garden was nice, with a little play hut for children in the corner and views of the old church in the sun. The pub... More
