I've been here quite a few times over the last 5 years with my wife and son and we love it . Very friendly staff, great food and bar and lots to do in Sandwich, Deal, Walmer and beyond. Will be going back soon.

My daughter and I found this to be a lovely hotel with welcoming professional service. The breakfasts were delicious with a range of choices and set us up for the day. Some of the decor is looking a bit tired and in need of a refresh. Not mobility friendly.

Large room (32) overlooking river , meals and service very good. Mattress a little lumpy. Hotel well placed to explore the town. Extensive network of footpaths and cycle routes. Boat trips from just outside the hotel. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent room 32 overlooking the river with comfy bed and power shower. Historic building that has been renovated and could do with a few pictures around the bedroom area as its lacks atmosphere, although a very bright and breezy restaurant/bistro. Breakfast was extensive with cold buffet and a good choice of hot meals, although my...

We stayed at The Bell this weekend, having booked one of their "weekend specials" which included the evening meal. Welcomed from the start with very friendly service, room was very comfortable and clean (pillows perhaps could have been a little firmer), and there was a good selection from the inclusive evening menu. Food itself was very good, in fact the...
