We are a family run concern and we do not operate a 24hr reception. There is a bell in the reception and a phone number to call. The building is a 5 story Victorian property and we may have been dealing with another guest out of ear shot from the bell. As I said we are a family run guest...

Staff were friendly on arrival and when serving at breakfast, rooms and facilities are as expected for the price bracket, the dining area is kind of blues themed, breakfast was pretty average, certainly not horrible but certainly not amazing! On the whole the place was fine... would stay again.

Despite having stayed at a lot of B&B's over the years, it had been quite a while since my last stay at one. Staying at a B&B / guest house is always interesting as each one has it's own unique personality. Often or not, they are quirky...And this is part of the charm. The Malvern is situated overlooking the sea,...

We stayed here for 2 nights. The whole experience was pleasant. All the basics of a hotel/guest house were provided for. The staff were also friendly. The main downside I think is the building itself, it is quite dated and it its age is showing. Our room was quite small however it was comfortable. In terms of value for money...

Room sizes, descriptions and current photos are all clearly stated in room information prior to booking. Also the twin en-suite room clearly states garden view and not sea-view which you were clearly expecting. I would like to advise you when booking accommodation in future you read the room information that we as responsible owners provide. We are a small family...

Although the evening restaurant wasn't open, we had a lovely, restful and quiet B and B break in this wonderful old seafront building. Clean, double room with panoramic sea views and well looked after, discreetly, by the friendly local man (Jason) who was running the place during our stay. Definitely recommended'
