Probably the best hotel I have stayed in and I stay in 3 hotels a week with work! The staff were all so friendly and upon check in I received an upgrade to a Superior Double. The room was just lovely, nice thick carpet, lovely bathroom with a waterfall shower and very quiet! The gym and pool facilities were fantastic,...

Four of us Visited for A sunday lunch..The bill incuded a 12.5% optional service charge. We were not informed about this. On confirming the booking I double checked the price, both online & during two telephone calls. This optional charge was not mentioned or transparent. II was taken from my credit card without my authorisation. This practice leads to double...

This was great value for the deal we were on so no real complaints. However avoid room 307. It is right next to a noisy boiler room which drones on until the early hours and then restarts at 04.00. Having visited this last week (very cold outside) we had the upper and lower windows open and a fan provided by...

I treated myself to a short break for bday. I had a junior suite which was lovely. Although overlooking the sea, there is work ongoing on, so was quite busy and noisy. A spot light shone directly into my room (120) slightly annoying. There were no gowns (which were included in package) or coffee tabs for machine, although I did...

"Yvette D" - Thank you for your comments We appreciate your comments and thank you for noting the re-design of the Hythe Imperial Hotel of recent. Unfortunately in order to continue with the works, scaffolding and noise pollution from the building work currently taking place, does have an impact on the hotel at certain times in the day. Thank you...

Great building very imposing entrance. Some places in the Hotel are still to have the makeover but this did not spoil our enjoyment. A room upgrade was given without asking! beautiful bed linen and large fluffy towels and toiletries, for me the coffee kettle makes such a difference. We were there just the one night so enjoyed a bottle of...

First impression was good as we were told that the room was ready at 1pm, and we had received a free superior room upgrade. However that room was on the ground floor with no sea views, and only rubbish skips being filled, so for an additional £10 pn we were moved to 2nd floor with much nicer aspect. Unfortunately it...

The Hythe is a mixed bag really... I stay here frequently for business and always have a similar experience. Pros: The newly refurbished rooms are SUPERB. The gym has a really good selection of equipment. Half the staff are super friendly and professional. Restaurant food is superb (if a touch pricey). Great location. Cons: The pool and spa is in...

I stayed here on 8th Jaunary. My fifth visit as we love this hotel. To say we were disappointed with this last visit would be an understatement. From the moment we checked in by the duty manager who quite honestly had no interpersonal skills it was not as had always been however the duty manager of the day was consistent...
