Definitely worth booking this guesthouse. Great value for money, lovely people, loads of breakfast choice, come and go as you please, right near the shops, pubs and eateries, very clean and comfy. We will definitely stay again.

Had a one night stay here last Saturday - it was very clean and well presented. All rooms have en suites which is brilliant. Ours was perfectly clean - (I am very fussy over showers etc, as I think most people are) - was very happy to use this one. The room was just as good as a hotel room...

Pauline and Derek are very welcoming and friendly. I ended up staying an extra night as I was enjoying my stay so much. Incredible breakfast selection, all cooked by the very competent Derek. I had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs one morning and home made crepes and eggs benedict on others. Breakfasts so huge they kept me going all...

Pauline and her hubby were lovely hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Because of this we overlooked the décor, dirty shower head and 2 lightbulbs out in the shower room. However the bed linen was spotless and the breakfast were plentiful. I think for £75 it was a little over priced and £60 would have been more reasonable. However,...

Stayed here a few times when visiting the area to do some fishing. Very comfortable and very good food. Highly recommended for a place priced sensibly. Friendly staff and owners. Room was nice and clean.

I stayed for a couple of days to visit relatives, very friendly place with comfortable ensuite room. Breakfast menu was extensive and I was told I needn't stick with it but could order whatever I fancied, which was then freshly cooked and delicious. I think I have found my new home-from-home! Free wifi and a seaview too.

A perfect location close to the town centre its ambience is one of a friendly small home. The Breakfast selection is extensive and any variation can...

The room was quite small but very cozy, extra points for the lace bed cover! It felt like staying in the spare guest room at some old aunts house. (Whats with all the birds feathers behind the table just below the window?) Perfect location, just a few minutes walk to the beach or to the High Street. We both loved...

We stayed at The Malvern last Saturday as our friends got married. Booked in early and this was no problem the owners were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and what you expect for a seaside guest house. Not perfect but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and large we had the full English breakfast. It was...
