Popped in here for lunch. Food and coffee were fine. Completely lacking in any atmosphere and service was ‘interesting’. Another couple mentioned the Victoria Woods “two soups” sketch - having now watched it, they were spot on!

Myself and 3 girlfriends stayed here for 2 nights following a walking event on the Isle of Wight. Jan and Gary were the best hosts ever and made us so welcome. My feet are blistered from the walking but my sides hurt more from the belly laughs we had! We tried a few of the many gins on offer and had a good go at the wine selection too. We were seated in the conservatory mostly and had the most marvellous time chatting and laughing with other travellers and Jan and her team. I cannot recommend highly enough. You just do not fine these sorts of guest houses/ hotels anymore. A little gem. Thank you Jan and Gary for the best fun we’ve had in ages xxx

Waited too long. Really annoying water drain constantly running. order wrong as 2 mushy peas were ordered but ended up with garden peas. Fish was obviously not fresh and was very thin. expensive. For 2 x fish and chips and 2 small cokes £29.40

Stopped by for tea and cakes and didn’t realise how much this beautiful place had to offer. We went through the main seating area into the back garden through a very light and airy conservatory, none of which you’d expect to find from the front, The owners were so friendly and proud of the service they provide. The cake selection was vast and all homemade, absolutely spoilt for choice. The lunch/dinner menu looked equally as appetising so we will definitely go back again. They also had a very well stocked Gin bar (110 different Gins we were told!) Super place and lovely people running it.
