We stayed at Medlars overnight while walking the IoW Coastal Path. It was the best of several B&Bs that we stayed at. Weill worth the 10-15 minute walk to & from the centre of Yarmouth. Large, comfortable, bedroom & bathroom with tasteful decor, in keeping with the rustic nature of the property. Our hosts were friendly & helpful. The hot breakfast was excellent.
This is our third annual visit to the Medlars, and we always choose to stay here. Gina is a lovely host, and the facilities are always clean, and well thought out. The 15 minute walk into the centre of town is lovely in the mornings. Breakfast is freshly cooked and plentiful, and the breakfast room overlooks the garden. We will be back next year!
We stayed four nights here at the end of September and were very pleased to have found it. It's a lovely house at the end of a private drive set well back from the road surrounded by pretty gardens. The rooms and bathroom were extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent - best I've ever had in a hotel or B&B; homemade jams, fresh fruit and delicious full English. The owners are charming and can't do enough for you, without invading your privacy. Will DEFINITELY stay here again and recommend it highly.
Lovely couple run this establishment. Very friendly welcome. Nice room. Great breakfast. Slight downsides - thin walls to bedrooms and we didn’t have en-suite. That does not detract from the overall experience though. Would definitely stay again.
This is the second time we have stayed at Medlers. It was just as good as last year. The room is well equipped, large and comfortable. It is very quiet, and very relaxing. Gina is a lovely host, and made us feel very welcome. I’m pretty sure we will book again next time in Yarmouth! Thank you Gina.
