We have just had the most perfect lunch at the Boat House. A great welcome as we walked in through the door, a tasty local ale, a wonderful crab salad with the best chips I have ever had outside of Bruges and amazing customer service. All in all, a fantastic customer experience. well done the Boat House and we will be back next year for more!

Nice location. Good outdoor seating area over looking sea. Relaxed atmosphere. Great interior decor. Friendly service. Excellent fish and chips with homemade tartare sauce. Great pimms. Recommend. Dog friendly. Definitely go again if in the area.

Situated by the sea and has good coastal walks. Good dining experience with excellent food. However booked luxury ensuite but disappointed with allocated room. Photos show table and chairs overlooking sea through bay window. Had much smaller room, no table and only room for one chair. No bedside tables as no room.It was more standard than luxury. Very disappointed and feel duped.

The Boat House is a lovely base from which to explore the wonderful Isle of Wight. The rooms are nice, without being flash at all, the food is just amazing, but the best thing about this holiday was the fantastic staff. From the cleaner, the waitresses, the bar staff, the terrific chef to the management, no-one could have done more to make our stay so enjoyable. Thank you Katherine, Jamie-Lee and all your wonderfull staff

My husband bought to the boat house for my birthday. We were so disappointed by the food and the price. Could have had a better dinner at weatherspoons and cheaper. I had the fish and chips. The fish was so greesy. My husband had a burger. The beef was tastless. I remember the boat house when it was a run down pub named the wireless. The pub know is beautiful the staff very friendly but the food needs to improve.
