If you are looking for a B and B on the island...THIS IS IT!! Comfy beds, rooms are a sheer delight, clean, warm and beautifully decorated with amazing breakfasts served...I can thoroughly recommend the pancakes!! Excellent position for touring,on bus route. The owners are wonderful, nothing too much trouble. Welcoming, tea and cakes on arrival,an eye popping tea tray in your room with fresh fruit bowl and chocolates. This is how a B and B should be run!!! We cannot thank Paula ,the owner, enough..she even gave us lifts which were much appreciated. I heartedly recommend this superb place to stay and am already planning to return in the autumn....can't wait!!! As I said if you need a B and B book this..I really don't think you will be disappointed..we certainly weren't!!! Thank you…
We stayed here for a night on our coastal walk around the Isle of Wight. Our room had a view of the Solent and was immaculate. The bathroom was charismatic and very modern and tidy. The hosts were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent, both full English and salmon - a very large portion of salmon! Highly recommended.
We stayed for one night last week at Onefifty. Paula really has it down to a fine art - it could be used as a template for all B&Bs. We received a very warm welcome (lovely coffee and biscuits) and even at the booking stage, Paula was extremely helpful. Onefifty is spotlessly clean and the decor is stylish and very pleasing. Very nice bathroom amenities - everything thought of, including cotton pads and buds ( I always look for that for makeup removal!) We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with the freshest ingredients and plenty of choice. All in all, an excellent stay and I would highly recommend a stay here. Also, good value for money. We will be back.
We have just returned from a most enjoyable time spent staying at onefifty, Cowes. Paula is such a warm, friendly and generous host we immediately felt at home. We were welcomed with a tray of tea on arrival. There were little extras, such as fresh fruit and flowers in the room. Our comfortable room was spotlessly clean and we really appreciated the clean towels each day and replenished tea tray (including KitKats which we tried hard to resist!). We had a lovely view down to the Solent from our room and one morning caught the sunrise which was special! Breakfast was absolutely delicious with plenty of choice to suit every taste and set us up for the day. Onefifty goes far beyond your average B&B and we would recommend it highly.
the best place we stayed on our Isle of Wight coastal walk - with some small but perfectly judged and hugely appreciated extra touches that made it stand out in the crowd. Fresh pot of tea and biscuits on arrival, a bit of luxury with the toiletries in the room - and a dressing gown to unwind in (not things we were carrying ourselves as backpackers!). hot shower and a good night's sleep in a huge bed. Breakfast was outstanding. Paula is the perfect host - balancing being a readily available source of advice and information with allowing us the the space and privacy to chill out and relax. would definitely stay again
