Had Sunday lunch here surroundings lovely, staff friendly, put off by the smell of Jeyes fluid as you walk to restaurant (better approach through grounds) found the menu narrow in choice over £5 for a starter and desserts the same and over £12 for the main meal which wasn't great - Roast Beef with veg. 2 or 3 slices of...

Booked here for dinner as I love Osborne House next door (well worth a days visit) so wanted to see what Albert Cottage was all about. The main house I think is slightly tired and in need of an update (in keeping with the style of the house no doubt) but the main restaurant and bar have been modernised and...

Everything we read about Albert Cottage Hotel would suggest that it would be just what we wanted and meet our expectations. The furnishings and decor of the room and bathroom were very good but the large patio style doors would make it difficult to open a window on a hot night! The restaurant was attractively furnished and the food prepared...

The restaurant in Alberts Cottage is well worth a visit. It is open to the general public. The food is excellent, and so are all the staff. Not overpriced either. A lovely relaxing bar to have a pre-dinner drink too. I have eaten there a number of times, and have not been disappointed once! They often have meal deals on...

We booked a double room for an overnight stay with evening meal and breakfast. We were great led by a friendly receptionist and shown to our room. The room was large with a generous sized bathroom. It was tastefully decorated throughout and befitting of the age of the property. Tea and coffee making facilities were available in the room. The...

This gem of a hotel is situated less than a mile from the ferries in East Cowes, walking distance to Cowes town centre and chain ferry (40pp on foot each way). Room (6) is spacious with a large bathroom with separate bath and shower. Overall a very nice boutique hotel of the traditional kind. Highly recommended.

This was a beautiful house to stay in. Full of history and comfort. Pros, bathroom for bedroom 3 as large as the bedroom, and does have an enormous deep bath. Comfortable bed, luxury pillows and clean and tidy room. Comfortably warm room, nice towels, tea and coffee available. Free parking and resturant had a good evening meal and breakfast. In...

Lovely quaint room. The staff were amazing and lit the fire in the lounge just for us after our meal. A lovely stay and a truly great meal in their restaurant. We were there on a Friday night and the food was superb. Breakfast was good but was still too full! Would definitely recommend.
