Although the staff were friendly and accommodating, the half an hour queue to order the food was excruciating, then only to be told when you got to the till that there would be a further 40 minute wait for the food, which was very average when it arrived, unfortunately.

Superb. Lovely efficient Mr Mouse. Super friendly owner gent. Wait for food but we knew that and they kept us informed. Yummy kids menu. Speedy bar staff. Nothing too much mother. Very clean. Great kids play area. Worth the wait. Thank you so much. We'll be back xx

Really great location, food and service were excellent. Parking at the rear was so easy. Food was so tasty and plenty of it. Tasted home cooked and so fresh. Staff really friendly and our doggy Bing was treated to his own water bowl and biscuits by Mr Mouse! Highly recommend!

25 minutes in queue to order food. 30 minutes wait for food. One burger not cooked at all and had to be sent back. Manager/owner (?) confrontational and aggressive when issues raised. Seemed to believe they were doing us a favour rather than treating us as customers.

We stayed here just for one night on a cycle touring holiday. We arrived during the afternoon, it was cold and windy but the welcome we received from the staff were excellent, nothing too much trouble. Bikes deposited in the secure store, food all day and a welcome real ale ( Ringwoods Forty Niner), the Whitebait was superb! Our room...

I recently visited here on a business trip and had such an excellent time. The local brew was superb - 'Undercliff'; rich and deep, just like an old classic ale should be! Served by a lovely smiling bar maid 'Sue' who couldn't do enough for us who was only surpassed by 'Mr Mouse' who was so accommodating and friendly. Food...

Visited for dinner on our 1st night of a 3 night break on IoW. Large pub with lots of outdoor tables and a good sea view. We were on table 45 - in a bay window with a good view. Good basic pub fare. Bar staff friendly but serving staff a bit brusque. The steak and ale pie is huge!...

Visited Isle of Wight with kids and a friend last week. Great Dino themed kids meal after day at black gang chine! Quick, but adequate and fair prices. The garden is spacious and safe, with lovely play facilities added. Be warned if your not very mobile, access from garden to pub is possible but awkward, that said top and bottom...
