This is a really beautiful place and in a lovely location only 3 miles from Hereford city centre. The room was furnished very tastefully and was extremely comfortable. Lin and Martin were very welcoming and friendly and really made our very short stay one that we want to repeat soon. Breakfast in the garden room was delicious Excellent value !!

Breakfast was the BEST. There were many options, but we each had cheese and bacon omelette which was excellent. The accommodations were also excellent with comfortable bed, great thick towels, modern bath facilities and lots of space. We had a great dinner recommendation that we could walk to within 4 minutes and very friendly hosts. I just wish the internet...

This is an ideal b&b for any romantic, touring or even business jaunt to Hereford. The hosts are knowledgable, friendly and accomodating; the location is convenient (3 miles east of the town), yet also quiet and relaxing in a country village; and the rooms are spacious, beautiful, and sparkly new, yet adjacent to a centuries-old home with sheep, hard-working chickens,...

We could only manage a 1 night stay at The Steppes, but have every intention of visiting again! Lovely property in a beautiful area and very welcoming hosts. The Green room was very comfortable with lovely views of the garden. Lin's chickens produce delicious eggs for breakfast. Thank you!

My wife and I booked the Green Room at the Stepps for 2 nights whist visiting old friends in Hereford. As ever internet bookings can be a bit of a lottery, but in the case of the Stepps we were a lottery winner! Well sited away from traffic noise, this B&B is perfectly placed for visiting Hereford and the local...

On a return trip to our home town for a family birthday party my son and I chose The Steppes at Lugwardine as our base and what an excellent choice it was!!! Tucked away down a beautiful tree lined lane The Steppes sits in the middle of its own grounds. Small terraces full of lovely flowers are the setting for...

I took the recommendation for this place from Trip Advisor and wasn't disappointed. On a short business trip to Hereford, I was warmly welcomed on arrival. The fact that I had an early (6:30) start was no problem for Lin and Martin. I was in the Red Room which had a beautiful view of the garden, was very tranquil, beautifully...
