Quite a dark interior because of its antiquity. Spacious bar and foyer. Big TV on the go and meals looked good. Car park at the rear. Very convenient position in the centre of Leominster on the road. Shops nearby.

We stayed here for 3 nights at short notice in April. If you want a modern, state of the art, minimalist hotel; the Talbot is not for you. Yes, it is old fashioned, yes it is, in parts a little tired, yes it could feature in a Poirot or Marple episode on TV. But that sort of bygone style is...

We had a one nights stay Monday of this week, Hotel is in a good location for the town and surrounding areas. and the price is reasonable. Free Wi-Fi. Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Food is good, we were late diners (8.45pm)and they were kind enough to stay and give us dinner (they were shutting at 9pm). Breakfast was...

Wanted to book for about 10 people per night for a week in late April-early May. After several email exchanges I gave up, as staff were not empowered to negotiate or make decisions, unless by the book.

Just one night. I have stayed here before and it fits very well with a short stay. Good location for visits to Hereford, Ludlow, and over the border to fantastic mid Wales I did not eat in the hotel, but I have eaten there before and the menu still looks good. I left my Glasses case there and they very...

Ok, so let's start with the negatives. This hotel is extremely old fashioned, very olde worlde with its many stair cases and winding corridors, our room was very basic but it was clean and tidy, our bathroom was tiny though. The hotel really does need a 'facelift' of some sort because it is a bit dark and gloomy. We decided...

I have stayed at The Talbot Hotel on many occasions within the last 15 years, mostly without problem under the long-term manager Kevin, who is now sadly deceased. The hotel was for many years under the Best Western banner. I had to work in Leominster over the Christmas 2016 holiday but my visit was short and so I required no...

We'd originally booked for 2 nights with breakfast, but due to family illness had return home earlier than planned so had to cancel our second night and both breakfasts. Knowing it was short notice we didn't expect a full refund but got one anyway. All staff were very welcoming and friendly, our meal in the restaurant was superb, and finishing...
