Good B&B located on the main road through Fownhope. The accomodation we used consists of small "chalets" behind the main building. These are completely furnished with bedroom and toilet. Breakfast is in the main building and is very good. The owners are very friendly and helpful. For diner, I advise the Green Man just down the road. There is a...

We were on the top floor and the room was more than comfortable. The outdoor space was also lovely. The village is delightful and the pub food down the block excellent. The family that runs the B&B have a great touch and the breakfast was perfect. Catch the bell-ringing across the street from the B&B.

Exceptionally clean, lovely and light, great location. Room had everything. Comfy bed and a good shower and bath. Friendly owner would definitely go back. The country location was great for both Hereford and Worcester. Ludlow was also nearby with its great variety of shops.

Excellent accommodation and friendly owner; lovely position; very comfortable; good parking and great breakfast. We would have loved to have stayed longer as the village is in a most attractive part of England and a good base to visit Hereford and the Wye Valley.

We stayed at Bowens B&B in April 2016, but only for the one night. The place is situated in a lovely little village, and we will return there in the future. We stayed in room 7 and had a great night's sleep and woke up with a beautiful view of the garden and birds feeding on the trees outside our...

My wife and I had reason to visit Hereford and we found this B&B was perfect for our needs. It was about ten minutes out of Hereford in a very pretty and quiet village. The room was clean and well presented with a good sized bathroom. On arrival we were greeted by Kevin who was very helpful in pointing out...

This is one of our favourite B&Bs in England. The setting is incredible, and we did an incredible walk up into the hills just behind Bowens. The breakfast was one of the nest we have had and featured fantastic local produce. The room was comfortable, and had a lovely outlook over the fields behind. We will definitely be staying here...

Bowens is an ideal spot to 'rest for a while'. Just outside Hereford, in the village of Fownhope, Bowens offers comfortable, quiet, yet spacious accommodation. Claire and Kevin run this excellent B&B, set back off the main road, delivering wonderful breakfasts each morning. Waking up to sheep grazing in the field behind the property, helps you relax and enjoy the...
