A very pleasant stay to enjoy the area and its peace and quiet. Service was very good, as were the full english breakfasts. However, since our last stay the accommodation, a room in the annex, had deteriorated.
Stayed here for our daughter’s wedding. Was a bit concerned having read some of the reviews, but needn’t have worried. The room was lovely and clean. Staff were helpful and the wedding was amazing. Thank you Beaulieu Inn for making the day so memorable
We stayed in a lovely family room with double bed and bunk beds, plenty of space for us all. Hotel has a lovely homely feel and staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is small, but perfect for a slash!
Spent an evening here at a Wedding reception and I was impressed by the service around the tables, the bar service and the cleanliness all around. Another big surprise was the prices at the bar. Not the usual fleecing the clients. Just reasonably pricing. Well done.
Read the reviews and failed to follow the advise- what a mistake. There are few staff, they try hard but are not supported by head office management. Room not cleaned, room smelt and we were told had a waste leak that ran into the wedding venue area - Wedding venue area!!! problem not fixed. Room stinks. Beds were comfortable. Inadequate parking if a wedding taking place. But even then not enough staff to cope with the wedding so guests not getting drinks from the bar in the wedding area, so had to go to main hotel bar?? Frankly my advice is to avoid this place.
Great location but alot of things letting it down. Be sure to book restaurant AND breakfast before your arrival. If you're staying in the garden rooms which is an annexe off the hotel you won't get any WiFi. Overpriced but we did stay on bank holiday weekend. Disappointed with our room
Really enjoyed our one night stay here . Lovely bright clean comfortable room . Enjoyed breakfast although service was a bit slow . Sometimes reception wasn’t manned which was problematical for some people but we enjoyed sitting in the lounge sipping a gin and looking out into the open space of the new forest
I attended a wedding reception in the Beaulieu Inn april where I found the events manager on duty to be very rude and abrupt when me and any guest asked for hot water she tutted walked of got the water brought it back and practically throw it at us. We were not informed that it would be card only, for the night and I only had cash on me and was told, tough it's card or no drink. I booked a snug double room for the night, to which was not very clean, had 3 light bulbs out, hairs in the bed, Mark on the sheet, dirty bath and kettle, cob webbs, now I have worked in hospitality and know this is not a good standard for a room. I went for breakfast at the drift pub where I was met with more rude staff as I asked for no tomato as I am allergic to it and no black pudding as I don't like it and the manager tutted at me and very rudely rolled his eyes and said anything else u want to say, then when the breakfast was served many guest complained due to the size of them, I had half a mushroom, small piece of bacon, cold baked beans, over cooked poached egg and hash brown which isn't much of a full English break fast.…
Modern well equipped hotel in stunning surroundings. Well located for exploring the New Forest Spacious ground floor room. Bed linen and towels excellent. Location, location, location. Would not hesitate to return.
We stayed here as a family of four (1 child aged 7 years and 1 child aged 22 months) after a day at Paultons Park. The room was tidy and comfortable. However, when we arrived there was no one on reception and no bell to alert staff to the fact that we were waiting so we wandered around trying to find someone and eventually the lady came along. She did apologise and was very nice but both times we had to visit reception that eve there was no one there and we had to try and find her. She had cleaning things in her hands so was obviously busy but it would be good to have a bell or something. We ate at the The Drift pub which is where the restaurant books in guests for breakfast and dinner, it is right next door. Be careful because on the menu on the website it says that kids eat free with every adult meal but when we got there they told us that to get that deal we had to book online and get a code. I was really annoyed about this as it felt a bit dishonest and there really is nowhere else to eat locally as it is quite remote so we had to just go with it and pay the £10.95 for a kids meal despite the fact we felt that it should have been free according to the website. The staff were nice and the food was decent, nothing really special but fairly standard pub food. There is a nice play area in the garden for the kids and there was a stray donkey in the pub garden which kept us entertained! We slept well and had breakfast in the pub, the staff were great especially with the kids, the food was nice and there was a good selection. We then went to the swimming pool in the hotel, we were told when we checked in that there would be towels. However once we were there and in the pool we realised there were no towels. My husband went out into the corridor in his swimming trunks and called up to receptions to ask for towels and she gave him the thumbs up. We waited for a while, our youngest had had enough of the pool and was crying so I sat on the side with him waiting for towels which didn’t appear so I took him out into the corridor (in my soaking wet swimming costume) and asked for towels, I was stressed and that would have come across in my tone but I was definitely not rude. The girl then came in with some towels and a scowl, no apology for the wait or inconvenience. I thanked her and she left. We then got ready and went back to the room and decided to just go home at that point. I had booked a late check out which I had paid extra for. As it was still quite early I asked cheekily if they could refund it as it was well before the normal check out time but they said they couldn’t. I would have liked to feed all of this back to the hotel but on check out I asked for a feedback fork and the receptionist told me to come into trip advisor so here I am. So all in all a comfortable room and lovely surroundings but the customer service at the hotel could be much better. We didn’t feel particularly valued today!! We probably wouldn’t stay again, for the price I think there are probably better options nearby.…
