Lovely clean room. Such a brilliant location as we came by train and so had to rely on public transport. The transport is incredibly good with 3 bus routes running to all the attractions we wanted to see, and the lodge was an easy 5 minute stroll away. The room was very clean and the bathroom looked very new. As...

Breakfast, Breakfast, Breakfast. What more does a growing lad need. A breakfast for champions indeed. Its the one thing that sorts the men from the boys. And the Burwood lodge delivered. The house is perfectly located and easy to find. On the main road near the petrol station and easy walking distance to the village center. A very homely and...

Our bedroom windows would not open. The owner informed me that she was aware the windows couldn't be opened and that they were screwed down by previous owners. Surely this is a health and safety issue? However, there is a patio door, but was advised against leaving it open, as the owners pet cat would enter the room! Besides, on...

Our room was wonderfully clean, great for my husband who is disabled. The owners were friendly and made our stay really happy. Only a short walk into town, where you have a good choice of what to eat. So many places to visit in such a short distance away. We would certainly go back.

We had a couple of days in the new forest, and booked the Burwood Lodge, as it had some good reviews. We were astonished to find ourselves in a very spacious room downstairs, opening on to the very pretty garden, which was also for guest use. This was a very nice short stay;- the room was lovely, the facilities fine,...

Betty and Tim were very friendly and welcoming. I e mailed ahead a dietary requirement that despite the fact that the Lodge was fully booked and busy Betty catered for. Thank you. The room was comfortable the breakfasts sumptuous and the location very convenient for the New Forest and the cycling that we went there for. We could store our...

Nice B&B in a nice town in the New Forest. 5 minute walk to the High Street with plenty of pubs and restaurants. Off road parking is in the front of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, good portions and good choice; service was fast, efficient and pleasant. Coffee and Tea making facilities in room were ample and useful. Downsides? The...

We were three adults staying for 2 nights. It was easy to find, conveniently located and was a lovely cottage. Our room was spacious and the décor was elegant and peaceful. Beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was sumptuous and very delicious. The lounge and garden were lovely and we played some snooker and badminton. The shower had a...

The Sat nav had a few issues finding it to begin with but we got there. the parking was tight but Betty had stayed up late just to wait for us. Room was small but spotlessly clean and all we needed. The bathroom was lovely and the bath was huge and very modern, however it took 1/2 an hour to...
