We've stayed here before about 2 years ago and enjoyed our second stay as much as the first time. The owners are lovely and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible and were quite happy to lock our bikes away in their bikeshed. The room is a large comfortable room with an enormous en...

After turning up at atleast 10 different places to see if they had a room. Noone had any. Heather house was our last hope, knocking on the...

Heather House is the perfect location situated in the heart of the New Forest with easy access by car and walking to the local town of Lyndhurst and open fields with horses and donkeys opposite! The house itself is a beautiful period Edwardian property. The communal areas are welcoming and inviting. Presented well and has a very homely feel. The...

We have stayed at Heather House twice and have loved it both times and often say if booking a holiday elsewhere that we wish Anne & Ted and Heather House were there too! The last time we stayed was for Easter this year. On Easter Sunday there were little Easter eggs and bunnies at the breakfast tables. Such a lovely...

We really enjoyed our stay at Heather House. Unfortunately we only stayed one night (wish we could have stayed for more) but it was very comfortable, clean and welcoming. We were a little late arriving in the evening as I got caught at work late, the hostess very understanding and accomodating. Lovely breakfast too! Will be back and will happily...

Heather House is a greatly located beautiful house just 5 mins walk to the centre of Lyndhurst. You simply cross the road and you are in the forest; it is close to local cafes, restaurants. If you are taking the train, it's best to take it to Ashurst since Heather House is not very far from Ashurst St. I walked...

We stayed as a couple over the Valentine's Day weekend and had a lovely stay. The rooms are spotlessly clean, very warm, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, particularly the fried bread, and there is a selection of cereals, yogurts and fruit to go with it. Ann is so friendly and helpful and will help you...
