We stayed here for 4 nights as a base for exploring the new forest on our bikes with our three children. We stayed in a family room with bunk beds and a camp bed. A good size for the 5 of us and clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with a wide choice and the swimming pool was a hit...

We had a Christmas present gift experience and chose to redeem it here. The hotel was easy to find and parking was great. We paid £40 to upgrade to a bigger room etc, and I feel we didn't get any wow from our upgrade. The room was nice don't get me wrong but not wow. It wasn't huge either so...

A nice atmosphere with very pleasant and amenable staff and lovely food, including breakfast. Our room was very cramped and uncomfortably hot despite opening the window as far as possible with the radiator off. We would certainly not choose a similar room. Floor boards also creak in the corridor which is a little disturbing late at night.

Our hearts sank when we walked in and saw there was a wedding on at the same time, but, we did not even notice the wedding party. The hotel is big enough to have a function going on at the same time without affecting the other guests. Staff are SO friendly. Our girls loved the pool, had it to themselves...

My fiance booked this hotel for our anniversary surprise, after originally booking Hotel Beaulieu, but he then picked here for its location. Upon arrival at 12:30pm from Kent, we wondered if check-in would be available as there was hardly any cars in car park, once we walked into reception we was met by 2 members of staff behind the desk,...

We stayed here with my sister and brother-in-law who have visited this small chain of hotels many times as they're doggy friendly. They needed a ground floor room as their dog is elderly and we were housed on the first floor (there are no lifts) which was fine for us with our younger dog. The room was a little small...

We have been to the New Forest several times and thought that as we can only spare the time for one night we would stay near the centre of Lyndhurst. The Forest Lodge fitted the bill. It is a nice modern hotel with a good pool. We only had a bar meal which was absolutely fine, £4.80 for a fairly...

The hotel is nicely located and reception, bars and restaurant areas all well maintained and comfortable, restaurant and bar staff eager to please helpful and courteous. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience. We were 'upgraded' to a smaller room with no discussion and the four poster bed was broken. Apart from the bed being badly chipped and marked, it creaked...

Good hotel in good location for Lyndhurst and the New Forest. Our Room was a reasonable size and clean and staff all very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a hotel with our dog for the first time and our stay was made very easy by the staff.

Very pleasant stay with helpful staff who went out of their way to cater for a vegan diet. Clean comfortable room. Decent sized swimming pool which we were able to use even after checking out. Great location with footpaths close by into the the forest. Easy access to town.
