My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights nights. The owners were away but the lovely couple who used to own it were there and were lovely and welcoming. We stayed in bedroom 1. Great room, huge bed that at first seemed very hard but after spending the night it was very comfy. Breakfast was nicely cooked. It's a... More

My wife and I stayed at Clayhill House for three nights, we had a relaxing time in a clean spacious room and enjoyed a warm welcome and great breakfast. I would highly recommend this B&B. A great place to stay and use as a base for exploring the fantastic New Forrest.

Spotlessly clean, great breakfast, well appointed rooms (bed a little too firm for me n hubby ) very friendly hosts. Only negative was unfortunately the road noise, it's continuous but take ear plugs with you (or buy them as we did) and problem solved 😀

I stayed in this lovely B & B for five nights and it really is a lovely place to stay very clean and a good breakfast on offer. I liked the chickens in the garden pen at the back from which we had eggs every morning so very fresh. I had a bit of trouble with the wifi that didn't... More

Visiting the area from Australia and stayed in this lovely Bed and Breakfast within easy walking distance to Lyndhurst and the forest. The hosts were friendly and the room very comfortable. It was nice to come back from a day out and be able to relax in a comfy chair with a cup of tea. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious.... More

Our room (3) was at the front of the house, overlooking the main road, and accessed by very steep stairs! It was cluttered and the en suite bathroom door opened in to the side of the bed! We needed to open windows due to the heat so our brief sojourn was like staying on a traffic island on a grand... More

I am sorry you did not have a good stay with us and I will deal with your points one by one. We are on a main road so do suffer from some road noise. The night you stayed was the beginning of the set up for the New Forest Show so there would have been heavy lorries and large... More

We stayed at the Clayhill House B&B for three nights. The room was ensuite double with two armchairs and a TV. It was a lovely room, nicely decorated and surprisingly well-equipped (for example, there were even tablet and phone charging sockets in the wall). The room was impeccably clean (cleaner than a lot of hotel rooms) and every day the... More
