The staff were rude and argued amongst themselves the chefs can be heard in the bar. The service was slow and food Luke warm and took an age to arrive. We stayed in number 7 room which had no toilet roll and the sheets were dirty, dusty and very noisy thank god it was one night not to be recommended...

We stayed overnight on a Sunday having attended a family christening nearby. The Greyhound had been recommended and so went for that rather than the alternative and cheaper options in the immediate area. The only downside on booking was that the kitchens were undergoing refurbishment and consequently only a continental breakfast would be available for us the following morning, the...

Superb Pub / Restaurant. Serving fresh local products, beautifully prepared in a quaint setting. We could not fault the food or service. Look forward to returning again to sample more of heir quality food.

Located in lovely Stockbridge, just outside of Winchester. Beautiful situation on a tributary of The Test, with Trout fishing available at the end of the Garden! A nice place to stay, winter, spring, summer or autumn. Nice rooms, great food, lovely ambience. Winchester and other lovely areas nearby. Hampshire at its best?

I visited this pub/restaurant today with 11 friends and we had a fantastic time. The food was great, the service extremely efficient, the staff were attentive and very friendly and the owner brilliant. The wood burner was pumping out seriously mesmerising flames which nearly stopped me leaving. The village of Stockbridge is very pretty and The Greyhound has a length...

Travelling down from London to Somerset, we stopped off in Stockbridge and came across this charming and cosy pub/restaurant and despite being very busy, they found us a lovely table and we had the most delicious fish and chips I have ever eaten! My son had croque monsieur to start with and I had a lemon posset for dessert. The...

We have eaten at the Greyhound on many occasions but never stayed in overnight. Really impressed with the quality of the room. One of the best breakfasts I have eaten for a long time. Ticked all our boxes.

Initially offered a table in a really gloomy room, lit only by candles and pretty much unable to read the menu. Luckily the waitress picked up on our lack of enthusiasm and moved us to a lovely, bright (natural light) dining area with other diners. The meal was delicious and well presented. It is quite expensive e.g. a rib of...

What a great pub. Amazingly cosy and welcoming with smart countryside chic decor and all falls second place to the river Test! Team were fun, knowledgeable and attentive. Food was impeccable and fishing the next day was a dream come true. This place is a gem

We stopped for lunch on our way to visit our son, the Inn was a lovely place very old and a lovely feel to it, we ordered the beer battered fish and chips, the fish was delicious....however the chips were no better than the ones you see in fast food shops 'french fries' I could not get my fork in...
