The Yew Tree guest house is absolutely fantastic. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. The bed was very comfortable - just what needed after a day walking the Clarendon Way. Freshly baked warm bread was provided for breakfast along with a selection of cooked breakfast options. I went for the full cooked (bacon, egg, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes) which was very...

Warm welcome from very helpful hosts, lovely room, really comfy bed and excellent breakfast, would recommend as a perfect stopover. Two handy pubs right opposite as well, and was perfect relaxation after a day of walking.

Stopped off in Broughton after our first leg of the Clarendon Way and Yew Tree House is the perfect stopover. Very welcoming hosts, good comfortable beds and the best cooked full English breakfast I have ever had. The house is so relaxing we managed to sleep for ten hours without any disturbance. I highly recommend it.

My sister and I spent the night at this oasis of calm as the half-way point on our birthday Clarendon Way trek. The guest room is beautiful, the beds wonderfully comfortable, and the hosts gently welcoming. The garden is full of flowers, many of which also decorate the lovingly restored house. It is a peaceful place to enjoy the sunshine...

You're not exactly spoilt for choice for an overnight stopover on the Clarendon Way footpath between Salisbury and Winchester, so it's fortunate that one of the few options available is not only ideally located, but an excellent midway resting point. Yew Tree House is a quintessentially English house in a beautiful Hampshire village, tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed...

My wife and I had a marvelous two-night stay at this B&B in late October and can join other reviewers in heartily recommending it. Philip and Janet are genial hosts and love to talk about the history of their venerable house, which is within spitting distance of the medieval church and two fine pubs. The bed is quite comfortable (no...

Yew Tree House has to be one of the most beautiful Bed & Breakfasts I've ever stayed in. It's a treasure of a house, a real old 17th Century building lovingly restored. It has a wonderful garden which was golden with little daffodils and primroses in the lawn. At the end of the garden is a pretty village churchyard, with...

Perfect location for a half way stopover along the Clarendon Way. To call this just a B&B does it an injustice; The hosts go out of their way to make sure their guests feel welcomed and are comfortable. The garden is lovely and just adds to the peace and tranquility. For evening meals there are 2 pubs, both of which...
