We wanted to visit relatives nearby and were pleased to find The Mortimer allowed dogs. We booked direct as usually dog friendly rooms are limited and it is never clear that one is available on a booking site. We stayed for 3 nights and were happy to have a refurbished room with a hard floor, we have experienced some establishments...

Dropped in for lunch and had their two courses for £12.99. Advertised outside but not in the pub. Very limited choice but was very good food. The two courses were a starter and main and they happily let us have a desert instead of a starter.

Came in on the hop as we happened to be staying in the area. As it was very quiet a table for 3 was easily accommodated and we were given a table in front of the fire. The restaurant is split into 2 parts with 3 tables on one side and the rest on the other. We were sat on...

overall we had a good stay with reasonable food although a little pricey. The main issue we had was a constant humming noise evidently coming from a freezer in an adjoining room in the courtyard which kept my wife awake during our 3 night stay. We were compensated for this by way of a small refund, however, we were told...

Just two minutes from the motorway, this is a great place to eat, drink and sleep. Lovely atmosphere with very friendly staff and delicious food. Apart from the menu they also have a 'specials blackboard' which changes regularly. There is a good range of beers and a well selected short wine list. Definitely worth a visit.

Booked 3 days here. Very enjoyable Christmas 5 course lunch served by an extremely well-organised team of people. Apart from broccoli and roast potatoes not being quite cooked, the rest was wonderful. Thank you to all the staff for a very enjoyable lunch.

We visited with our 3 year old twins and their nan after a busy day at Peppa pig world. Inside was clean and modern, the staff however were very aloof, not rude, just not very welcoming. The adults all had the roast dinner which was very nice. The veg was a little underdone for my taste, but overall very nice....

Hi, recently w by to Paultons Parks Peppa Pig world, didn't fancy the drive there and back so decided to stop over for thx night. Chose the Mortimer Arms and we were not disappointed. The hotel/pub is located at the entrance to Paulton Park, its less than half a mile to the main entrance. On arrival we were greeted at...

We are fairly local to the Mortimer Arms and have eaten here on a number of occasions as a family of 3 and also in larger groups and for special occasions. The food is excellent, really fresh with a great choice available. We always find the staff friendly and welcoming and will continue to visit when we want to be...

After having a very enjoyable meal after visiting Peppa Pig World 2 years ago, we felt that The Mortimer Arms was a natural choice this weekend when we returned to the park but this time, wanted a nice stop over the night before. Even though the food is really nice, we felt nearly £9 for 2 (yes 2) scallops was...
