From the greeting by the staff and the standard you expect from a Premier Inn we new it would be a good weekend sleep, The child in the room above us was noisy running about at 5am but that wasn't the hotels fault, on a positive we never missed breakfast. Food in the pub opposite was very good and cheap. Shame the £220 a night didn't include the breakfast.
My wife and I travelled down from Birmingham for a family funeral and wanted an overnight place to stay the night. We have stayed many, many times at Premier Inn Hotels, but this was the first time I had experienced a Premier Inn with it's own restaurant on the ground floor, it was an excellent addition. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The biggest selling point for me was the gentleman who manned reception, his customer service skills were OUTSTANDING, I would definitely stay here again just to know we would have him looking after our needs.
You know what you are getting with a Premier inn , we had two nights here so we could attend the Goodwood festival of speed , great location to get to and from the event . Breakfast on our 1st morning was fab . Hotel is located next to a farmhouse inn pub so we went here for evening meal on the 1st night but it was so busy on the second evening we walked into Havant . Slept great , tea and coffee making supplies in room , could have had a few more sachets of both to allow for more than one cup each of tea and coffee . Comfy bed , bathroom clean . Good value as hotels closer we’re a lot more expensive for this weekend
The usual Premier Inn service. Cleanliness a problem inside and out.So many cigarette ends around outside!! The restaurant offered a poor experience, our food arrived Luke warm, the waitress unable to sort the matter!! May stay again out of necessity but not choice!!
Myself and my Son required an additional night's accommodation in Chichester as a friend had taken ill during our trip and had been taken to Hospital. There were no rooms in Chichester and a Premier Inn staff member found us and booked a room at this hotel in Portsmouth. The SATNAV took us to an unfinished and closed road - not the hotel's fault but maybe worth a mention as a risk. On arrival we checked in easily and our room was excellent. Spacious, clean and two beds had been made up for myself and my Son. We noticed immediately that, despite having a full cell-phone signal within a quarter-mile of the hotel, there was zero signal anywhere within (EE was the network). This was a problem as we were waiting news from the hospital on the condition of our friend. The free hotel Wifi was entirely unusable, so we were forced to pay for the "ultimate" wifi, which worked ok. I didn't sleep well though as I have experienced hotel wifi drop-outs and I kept waking up to check we still had a signal. Before bed, we ate in the restaurant and I had a nice lasagne. Unfortunately, I had to rescue the lasagne from beneath a cave-in of cheese - the kind that is stringy and makes swallowing a nightmare! I love cheese but this was insane. I reported this to staff. In the morning I badly scalded by tongue with the hottest cappuccino I have ever experienced. It looked normal but when I took my first drink i discovered it was as hot as any black-coffee. I also reported this to staff, Finally all of this cost us over £160 for one nights stay (excluding dinner which was another £30). With a 500 mile journey ahead of me and a sick friend, I didn't get the peaceful and pleasant experience I had hoped. On reading this review I sound like a grumpy sod but I am not. In fact this is the worst revenue I have ever given a hotel - and I lived in hotels literally for years in my career in aviation. I am only writing this to provide the hotel with genuine feedback on my experience and to notify future guests of issues we experienced.…
We needed a convenient location in order to visit family, this one is ideally placed, being very close to Motorways, local stores & town center, overall very pleased with the Hotel, clean, tidy, friendly knowledgeable staff & always available, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Havant.
Stayed one night after a family celebration. Checked in after midnight which was no problem - someone there to greet us with a smile. Room looks a little tired, pillows lumpy & bed squeaky. Breakfast reliably good although the fruit and yoghurt selection wasn't as wide as some other PIs I've been to - apparently due to supply issues.
A warm welcome awaited us as we checked in after 7pm and a long drive. The trip was to support my son competing at a sporting event, and we were made to feel welcome. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was great. Breakfast was busy but my food was cooked to order and delicious.
Stayed at this Premier Inn on 26th May 2022 This is a great Premier Inn everyone is so friendly and helpful Couldn't fault it in any way Manager Andy is particularly friendly Will definitely stay there again
The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. At reception, at breakfast and the night porter when we came back late. Thanks to them we had a really pleasant stay. They even gave us some chocolates on arrival. Bed and room was comfy.
