We had a 2 night stay booked through Groupon so it was good value for money and in a beautiful village. The room was warm and clean. We ate in the restaurant both nights and enjoyed the food. Friendly service both in reception and the restaurant. All in all we enjoyed our stay here. As with some reviews the place...

Stayed for two nights, and all was good, rooms were clean, although some of the window frames were rotting around the bottom, the owners really need to look at them. Breakfast was nice, and was served from 830 to 1000 for our stay, may be worth noting if you need an early start. The car parking was fine and also...

Arrived at The Crown Hotel Blockley last Friday to be met by a friendly manager who booked us in quickly and off we went to our lovely room. The room was warm very clean with crisp perfectly laundered linen and towels. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was clean with a very powerful shower and plenty of hot water. We...

This was our second visit to this hotel. It is set in the lovely village of Blockley, which I think is one of the nicest places in the Cotswolds and well worth a visit. The hotel has charm, but has become quite unloved and in need of money spent on it. We were not in the main building this time,...

Was a lovely base to celebrate our engagement. We loved the oldy wordly feel of the place. The locals in the bar on Saturday evening were very welcoming!! The breakfast was lovely!! The restaurant menu was a bit limited but was still lovely....def recommend the White chocolate cheesecake! Would stay again!

Stayed here for my birthday. When we arrived we were left standing in reception we were then greeted by a foreign man who wasn't very welcoming and not too bothered, not a great start. The room was very old and weathered, could do with a freshen up. The linen was clean and the room was clean. The breakfast was good...

Having read some of the reviews on Trip Adviser we were anxious about our stay. Couldn't have been more wrong. Lovely welcome from hotel manager. Room whilst on the small side was spotless with lovely crisp linen on bed. Full English breakfast on the Saturday morning was faultless we had a great stay.

Definitely a bit Faulty Towers but we had a good time. It has a nice cosy feel and the food was excellent but quite expensive. The service was average as none of the staff fell over them selves to to do anything special. When we first arrived, we asked for a coffee whilst the room was prepared (we were early),...

I've read some really bad reviews for what I thought to be a lovely stay at the Crown Inn/Hotel. Especially for the price. And I always say that you get what you pay for - indeed the service could be a bit friendlier or more helpful but that is also up to the customers: same principle, people will return friendliness...
