Charming exterior. Hard bed. Lumpy pillows. Dirty carpet. Cheap & old furnishings. I really wanted to like this place. But I'd highly recommend staying someplace else & visiting the town. I like old & charming. This was not that at all.

Loved this hotel, Only there for one night but everything you would expect from an aged hotel. Surrounding village walk, just beautiful, with babbling brook running through the village. Breakfast was great,,nice peaceful stay. The retention of this quintessentially English village of Brockley is amazing. Loved everything about it.

This could be such a lovely hotel, unfortunately the staff are fairly surly, the bed was uncomfortable, the wifi didn't work, only one bedside light operated and I had to repair the curtain track to close the curtains.... Blockley is a beautiful place and has many tourist visitors, sharpen up the operation in this hotel and you'd have a real...

We were welcomed by a very polite receptionist who provided us with information regarding our stay before issuing our keys. The room was very clean and tidy which led to the ensuite bathroom. The hotel is a little tired and needs a little touch up to make it more comfortable and welcoming. Unfortunately there was very little atmosphere as there...

Stayed here with my sister last week .. We loved this hotel. It is in such a pretty Cotswold village and is so old and interesting. We were told it is over 400 years old. The floors slope in different directions and the whole place is delightfully quirky - but immaculately clean! Our room was on the first floor on the front of the main building, overlooking a...

We had this idea that we would stay in the Cotswolds for nice walks and lazy romantic evenings by a log fire with good wine and food. We wanted to park the car and forget it for a couple of days. This hotel was not the right choice!! Admittedly .... It is a budget hotel and to expect anything more...
