We stayed here to use the hotel as a base to meet up with a group of friends in the surrounding villages. The hotel itself is a little quirky, but the staff were very nice and helped where they could. We stayed in the main building in room 18 which would be lovely in the summer, however we stayed in...

We had a nice stay at The Crown Hotel although the hotel is small its very cozy, the beds were nice and the staff was nice too. We really enjoyed the village of Blockley our teenage girls loved the local deli shop they thought they were in a movie! Lovely visit!!

I've just returned after a stay at the Crown. You don't need Crown Jewels to pay for it i.e. It's great value and the food ,beer and staff are great. The room was clean and overall spot on . The Crown is located in the darkness of beyond but this gave it character. The rooms are located in or outside...

This is our fourth visit to the crown and haven't been let down yet. Why? Because I manage my expectations. Let's face it you can't complain for the price you are paying. This trip there was myself and my wife staying in superior room (24) we have stayed in this room before and apart from the dated en suite no...

We stayed at the Crown Hotel for three nights. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is very old and quirky. Lots of crooked floors and walls. It had a very cosy atmosphere, the room was comfortable with good bathroom and heating. The lounge with couches and open fire was great to relax in front of at night....

Bed & breakfast & dinner. A lovely 16th Century building. With all its uneveness of the walls, floors and ceilings. It was exactly as we expected. Very tentative staff especially Attilla who seemed to be the receptionist, bell boy, concierge, bar man, waiter! In fact I actually asked him if he had a twin brother because he seemed to be...

Visited on a Groupon deal last week for 2 nights. A Christmas present from my other half. Lovely quiet ambience in the hotel.. nice cosy room and a lovely location (they film 'Father Brown' here and used the church for the Christmas special). Breakfast good but needs more thought on the presentation of the full English. Dinner on our second...

if you have the misfortune to stay at this place, don't bother complaining about the log fires not being lit, room not being hoovered, the overpriced evening dinner for poor quality ingredients which include tinned mushrooms because the aptly named Atilla won't do anything about it and when you follow up your complaints with an email be will be rude,...

First of all, I would like to say a massive thank you for the hotel staff and management for the fantastic stay. We have been treated like a royalties. We have been stayed for New Years Eve. We had a fantastic dinner. It was a very reasonable to compare to other hotels and restaurants in the Cotswold. It was a...
