This is a lovely little hotel with a calm atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with a wonderful selection on the breakfast buffet and well cooked full English.

We booked the Devonshire a few days before, we had read the reviews before we arrived which were all good. We were not disappointed. The staff were fab, friendly and helpful even at 2.30am. The rooms were clean and welcoming, stylish and modern. I had a fantastic nights sleep. Good choice at breakfast, my Husband went for the full English...

We highly recommend! We ended up staying at the Devonshire for approximately 5 weeks due to works being undertaken at our house. Originally we stayed at another hotel in the area for a couple of nights which was 'ok' but chose the Devonshire for the remainder. The staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were spotless (I think we stayed...

We stayed whilst on business in Hornchurch. The hotel seems well run and very compact with off road parking at the rear. We stayed in a room at the front and if your a light sleeper ask for a rear room as noisy from a busy main road , also the bed is very hard and I couldn't sleep and...

This is a particularly well run hotel. All staff were charming and efficient. I was probably in one of their smallest rooms, a single, but nonetheless it was well appointed and very adequate. Modern en suite bathroom with excellent shower, very good bed on which I had an excellent night's sleep. Breakfast was not included in the price I paid...

A warm welcome on our arrival. Very comfortable room, brilliant shower. Ample parking and a few minutes walk from the town centre. Both the continental and full english breakfasts were superb. The staff couldn't do enough to help and were both friendly and professional. We stayed there as part of my 60th birthday celebrations and were delighted. We will be...
