A wonderful part of the country to explore. Hotel excellent, restaurant could be better for a SLH. We have stayed at many SLH hotels and found the standard in the restaurant could be higher, rolls served cold, felt stale and not covered when left on the side! Rooms lovely and beds comfortable.

We went as a family for birthday lunch at Ashdown Park hotel. The food was excellent as they catered for all tastes. The service was second to none and we will be returning soon. Coffee was enjoyed in the lounge and served with delightful petit fours.

Fantastic place. Beautiful grounds and great accommodation. Spent a day swimming, playing table tennis, snooker and walking in the grounds. Perfect. Food is also excellent. Very comfortable. Weather was also very mild for Feb!

Recently I had the privilege to visit Ashdown Park Hotel for one of my recent filming projects. While there I was beautifully looked after but more importantly I observed this high level of care and service was offered to everyone that walked through their doors into the magnificent entrance hall. I also had the opportunity to sample their light snacks...

I stayed here with my daughter for a half term spa break. The hotel is beautiful and is set in the most perfect gardens . The staff were all very helpful especially Phillip who could not have been more helpful. The restaurant is exceptional with great service and excellent food. The only slight problem is the spa which is very...

SPA DAY . Myself and my mum came here for a spa day back in October. It was a gift she had given to me for my birthday six months prior, but as I was pregnant I waited until after having my baby to make the most of the treatments. It was my first day going out without my baby...

My friend and I have just returned from a blissful two night getaway and would recommend it without caveat or reservation. The building itself is charming; authentic, homely and comfortable without being brash. If it were a piece of clothing it would be a good set of country tweeds. The finishing touches are well-thought out without being ostentatious; we were...

My fiancee and I had this Valentines/ Anniversary night booked since before Christmas so had been looking forward to somr much needed R&R. Arrived in the afternoon, room wasn't ready yet so went on through for afternoon tea. Everything was delicious and delicately decorated, almost didn't want to eat the little works of art but I did and they were...

The perfect location for a relaxing getaway. A beautiful, elegant grand old main building - stunning views of the forest and the beautiful grounds. Sit down in the warm inviting drawing room for a spot of afternoon tea before retiring to the clean and comfortable rooms. The spa is a little on the small side but perfectly reasonable. All in...

I decided to take my wife to Ashdown for the weekend before Valentines Day. I booked it via lastminute.com and didn't think anymore of it. After 1.5 hours of driving we arrived at the venue - already covered in white from the snow. It was angelic. The staff were ever so friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and...
