I spent 2 nights at this site as I was taking part in an art competition at Scotney Castle. The reception was warm and friendly. So supportive when I had a particluar issue to deal with. They showed me walks, directions to places and I barely had to light my stove as there were kettles everywhere! This was as well...

Hi Sue, Thank you for you comments, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. For any readers of this review, I will point out that we do not currently have WiFi, but we allowed Sue to borrow the PC in our office so that she could download some important documents. We are looking to provide WiFi in the future, but...

Love this campsite, it is very quiet (even on bank holiday weekend when full). The pitches are very spacious and the field very well tended. The toilets are in fantastic condition, so very clean and kept that way and checked regularly through the day. I would have preferred not to pay 50p for the showers but they were in excellent...

Hi Carpe_Diem Thank you for you comments. Unfortunately providing WiFi is not currently an option as we are not able to get a broadband service to the site, we use a mobile phone connection in the office. We hope to see you again soon. Jay and Catherine Morgan

Lovely small family oriented campsite. Small enough so you can see your children and what they are up to but large enough so it doesn't feel cramped. The owners make their excess vegetables available and we even had a gymnastic display by a few of the children staying. Well worth a visit.

if only all campsites were like this one! Site was fully booked over the bank holiday weekend and we were a bit anxious that would mean not a lot of space, plus it might be noisy. We need not have worried as even 'at capacity' the pitches offered ample space. There are 'rules' about quiet hours, which we come across...

Hi Pigtiglet. Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately Wi-Fi is not an option for us as we do not receive any broadband service. Internet to our office is provided via 4G "mobile" signal that has a 50gb per month cap, and therefore is not practical to share with the site. Hopefully broadband will be available to us at some point....

This is a little gem of a place, nice pitches, hut with fridges to keep your beers cold, clean hot showers. There is a pathway next to the entrance to the campsite which leads all the way down to the bewlwater resevoir. If your feeling energetic it is a 13 mile hike all the way round, or you could just...

Booked the site as there is a track straight to bewl water. Lovely clean and quiet site with great showers. Thanks for fitting me in at short notice. Maybe have an information board with walks to bewl and through the woods to the pub at Kilndown?

Great campsite. Made very welcome in our Motorhome. Excellent location for visiting five NT properties in four days. Lovely walk to Bewl Water past many black currant bushes. We will be back very soon.

Went for 2 nights last weekend with our two children aged 5 and 6. The site is lovely and small which makes it feel safe for families. The facilities were great, the showers and toilets super clean and easily accessible from everywhere - we had the furthest pitch in the top field. There is a slight slope although I think...

First time visitors to this campsite. On arrival we were greeted and shown around and then taken to our pitch. I didn't catch the owners name but he was so welcoming and so laid back. He didn't mind which way round we pitched, didn't mind my boys putting up their goal. It is a pretty quiet place even though there...

Beautiful fields (with footpath to Lake), Fridge, BBQs to borrow, never seen such clean washing up points , showers and toilets on a campsite . Owners very helpful, accommodated dogs on leads even substituted football that was lost into the woods. Very convenient for courses at Adventure Kent /Bewl Water. Near Bedgebury and several NT properties
