I have stayed here 3 times already, for 14 days at a time. Situated very close to Newhaven harbour where im working. Barn owl's cottage is perfect for a couple or family with a small child. Kitchen bathroom and front room including dining area. Good wifi and the hosts cannot do enough for you. Secure parking out front. However if...

Staying as we did for nearly three months gave us both ample time to see all aspects of this place,Shirley and Andy were very helpful in all matters,we read the other reviews and has been stated something's are a little tired, but to be fair, the owners have only just bought the place and are changing things as they go along, the "cottage"...

We're on the London to Paris cycle route staying at the Barn Owls B&B. It's right on the route, just outside Newhaven. The accommodation sounded different and has turned out to be really good. It's a chalet in the garden, well back from the road so really quiet. It has everything you need, even a little fridge for the milk...

I chose to stay here as part of a series of charity walks I am doing from Dungeness to Lands End. I set out from Eastbourne at Lunchtime. I crossed Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters, walked through Seaford before arriving here. I cannot tell you how pleased I was to see the sign and the room was perfect, comfortable,...

I want to be kind and exude as I have in previous reviews but on this occasion and this occasion only things weren't quite up to standard The barn was dusty and "tired" One of the bedrooms had mould in it And to be fair the problem was addressed and the mould removed but when our guests arrived that weekend...

My self and partner stayed for 2 weeks. Hosts Shirly was friendly, extremely helpful and demonstrated high excellent standards. We stayed in Barn owls cottage, and found the accommodation excellent value for money and very comfortable. The cottage was spotlessly clean, large rooms which really captured the cottage feeling. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, lots of space modern with...

We stayed for one night at The Lodge and we couldn't fault it. Booking was very easy, we thought we might arrive earlier than the check in time and were told that wouldn't be a problem and Gill was very welcoming and friendly. The Lodge itself was very clean, comfortable and quiet and had everything we needed. The continental breakfast...

We stayed in the Lodge over Easter, and it was really lovely. Breakfast was fantastic, the room was cosy and comfortable and the surroundings relaxing. The Lodge is well equipped, and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely come back here again. Really peaceful.

We stayed for just one night as we were getting the ferry the next morning. The whole process from booking to leaving was easy and enjoyable. The location is easy to find, peaceful and scenic. The room is very cosy and felt like home as soon as we arrived. There was everything there we could have wanted and a great...
