We received a lovely warm welcome. The room was spacious and light, on the top floor via two flights of stairs. Breakfast was excellent. We did not find parking a problem despite the fact that it was on street. Very convenient for the town, station and the de la Warr pavilion. Will definitely be on our short list for a...

Booked in for two nights for the 1066 weekend at Battle as unable to find anything available in Battle itself but not disappointed with the English Rose. I found this B&B a lovely and very pleasant place to stay. The Landlady was very kind and considerate. Breakfast was very tasty and very.varied. Would recommend and will stay again. Town was an easy walk from the B&B. 10/10

This is excellent on all points. The accommodation is beautifully appointed; clean, comfortable, light and cheerful. The landlady could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable; friendly, helpful and welcoming; I would certainly stay at the English Rose again. This lovely B & B is a credit to its owners who are professional but friendly. It is immaculate throughout. Our room was clean and welcoming, we had a TV that rose from the base of the bed! Breakfast piping hot and good choice. Near to amenities without all the noise too!

Easy and efficient booking. We had a friendly welcome, clean and comfortable room - spacious and quiet - with all facilities. Good breakfast - although sausage could be better. All in all warmly recommended

Lovely welcome from the owners, so very clean and lovely room. We stayed in bexhill for a coupe nights in The English Rose in which we had breakfast once which was lovely also the owners were very welcoming and accommodating. To anyone who wishes to stay in bexhill I would recommend this place. Its location is just enough in bexhill...

I booked this through Booking .com while I was in the area on business. Lovely room with all the creature comforts. Nice welcome and a relaxed but professional attitude to guests. Great breakfast nothing too much trouble would love be to visit again. A+++++

My wife and I stayed here for one night (seeing a concert at the De la Warr pavillion) Excellent B & B. Very comfortable room which was spotless as was the rest of the B & B. 5 minute walk from the Town centre. Quiet location, Great host in Sonia and very good breakfasts. A very good B & B....

Excellent venue with comfortable beds, beautifully furnished, very clean and great food for breakfast. Tea & coffee in your room as well. Hosts are very kind. Central position so easy to use and find.

The English Rose B&B is a small family run Bed and Breakfast situated near St Marys Magdalene's Church and only a short walk from Bexhill's unspoilt Victorian town why not come and visit and spend the day on its unspoilt beaches, hire a deck chair and soak up the atmosphere. Bexhill-on-Sea offers some great night life, from fine dining in one of our plush restaurants to good old sea side fish and chips or evening cocktails so just book with the English Rose B&B take in a show at the De La Warr Pavilion and see the sites. Bexhill was at the centre of British Motor racing when the 8th Earl De La Warr hosted the first motor race on the 19th May 1902 it is still remembered today with special events organized by the Bexhill 100 association. Now people visit Bexhill for its tranquil settings and its slower pace of life, its unspoilt beaches and local amenities such as Cooden beach golf club or catch up on some history at is museums and art galleries. ... more   less
