Had a lovely break at the Randolph. Staff were very friendly & helpful, room was great and clean, food was excellent. Only little thing was that it is a little tired in places but an great spot for a break away. Thank you

We stayed here last September, but going by the reviews the standard hasn't faultered. We enjoyed the friendly staff, locals who used the bar and coffee bar and the local community atmosphere. We ate in Southwold a couple of times but kept coming back to the Randolph.Yes,fish and chips superb, breakfast freshly cooked and all good things to go with an efficiently run...

From the warm welcome onwards we really enjoyed our stay at the Randolph. We had an executive double which was large with a huge comfortable bed. The facilities provided was everything you could reasonably expect plus bottled water which so few hotels provide. Breakfast was cooked to order and really good. The premium ingredients made the short wait worthwhile and...

Stayed here for 1 night and found the hosts and staff all really friendly and helpful - thanks for the room upgrade. Lovely quiet room with the comfiest of beds and the best hotel full English breakfast I've ever had. Dinner was excellent too and complemented by the superb Adnams beer!

Only 3 stars for this hotel because the bed we had was uncomfortable with a creased mattress. Otherwise, good: friendly staff, plenty of parking space. Room was a good size with pleasant decor. Naff TV. Buffet breakfast is very basic, although cooked breakfast is available - took a long time to arrive, however. Rather disappointed and won't stay again.

Lovely comfortable stay in a friendly staff so good atmosphere. Hotel is clean comfortable with good food and situated close to Southwold only a ten minute walk. Will definitely visit again even though weather wasn't great (storm doris) !

Spent two nights at the Randolph with my partner. Found the hotel easily and parked up without any hassle in the onsite car park. Check in was really quick and the receptionist very polite and helpful. Our room (12) was located on the top floor and was very clean, bright and the linen was crisp. Bathroom was also good quality...

We were not going to be arriving until quite late, so I phoned ahead to let the staff know, whereupon the staff member offered for the kitchen to make us some food on arrival. We duly arrived and were very warmly greeted by the night manager, who ensured the kitchen staff could hang on a bit longer to make us...

Stayed at the Randolph for one night over a weekend. They don't normally take one night bookings at weekends, but took our booking for two rooms late in the week. Room was clean, quiet and nice and comfortable. Location is a 15 or so minute walk to the town centre of Southwold. We didn't have an evening meal at the...

Stayed here on Friday night with my family. Dinner was great and the staff very friendly. But two things really stood out. The bed was so comfortable (and all the linens spotless, crisply laundered and excellent quality) AND what a breakfast! Absolutely delicious. Smoked haddock with poached eggs filled my husband up until we had dinner at 9pm that night...
