Standing proudly on Southwold’s High Street, The Crown is at the heart of the town and just moments away from the beach. Something of a Suffolk food institution, The Crown has always offered outstanding quality food and wine in a wonderfully informal setting. The wine list boasts a tantalising range of wines by the glass, one doesn’t have to have a bottle. It also showcases a range of well kept and award-winning Adnams beers and spirits. Our 14 bedrooms are all stylish and full of character, offering a high standard of accommodation and a comfortable, memorable stay in Southwold.

Good location in the centre of Southwold, close to shops and to the beach. Spacious rooms with good facilities. Friendly reception, bar and restaurant staff. Good quality food both at breakfast and in the evening.

"Only eating"
"Room no. 9 overlooks back of hotel. Fairly quiet apart from delivery vehicles. (i.e. milk van at 2.30am)."
"Room 10 can be set up as a twin; is 2nd floor and quiet away from car park and kitchen"
"Note - no ground floor rooms"
"Room 4 linked lounge area; could be coupled with another room for a family suite. Rooms to front (3 and 4) might be noisy in summer."
