We keep trying as are local but during the fish had another poor meal. Have to give up now as given it enough chance Best to go out of town to Newmarket or The Old Plough at Ashley for a decent meal. Nothing in mildenhall is any good.

We recently visited this lovely hotel to have lunch as my mother inlaw was staying with us for a few days. We were very impressed with the dining room which is beautifully decorated and our table was positioned overlooking the garden, which is really pretty. The staff here are very friendly, without being intrusive, the menu was very good and...

Called in on the spur of the moment for afternoon tea. This hotel was highly recommended to me. We were a party of eight , and were seated promptly. Our waitress, I believe her name was Suzanne ,was exceptionally friendly and explained the afternoon tea menu to us in great detail. The afternoon tea was one of the best that...

We were guests at a wedding held at the hotel and also stayed overnight. The wedding was conducted in a very professional manor by both manager and supporting staff. The grounds are lovely for photos and the meal was very good. Mass catering is always problematical but with a choice for both starters and dessert it was provided with the...

All staff were very friendly, the rooms where very clean and pleasant, the food was good and the grounds were beautiful. Overall a very nice hotel would stay again in the future. The hotel is full of character with nice features unlike a lot of big chain hotels.

The best feature of this hotel is its attractive setting with pretty gardens which extend to the river. I stayed one night in a room on the top floor which, when the lift wasn't working, was a difficult climb up very steep stairs with luggage. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious with attractive decor and modern bathroom. However the...

We arrived at the Riverside Hotel as part of a pre-booked group for 'afternoon tea/lunch'. We were seated quickly and the lunch menus were handed out and orders taken. The ladies of our group that were having the 'afternoon Tea' received their food within ten or so minutes. While we were waiting another large group arrived and their orders were...

We stayed two nights, Thursday and Friday, and enjoyed a lovely room on the second floor with great views of the village. Staff were all helpful and while we ate elsewhere both night, breakfast was a delight with, as you might expect, a few choices with an American twist including eggs benedict, which were very good.

We stayed at Riverside Hotel for 2 nights and can highly recommend it. The hotel looks recently decorated to an extremely high standard. Furnishings are of very high quality. We had a good sized bedroom at the front of the hotel overlooking the pretty church and cottages opposite. The excellent bathroom was modern with a very large shower. We had...
