Filthy rooms, disgusting breakfast, freezing cold room as no heating. Wifi advertised but only available in the dingy reception/bar area. Evening meals also advertised but on arrival II was informed that no meals were being served that particular evening. Would not recommend staying here at all.

Well I don’t really know where to start on First impressions its an old country pub that clearly has it local fan base! Check in was a little slow due to several unnecessary question and just general dilly dallying! The rooms lets just go with old and little run down, I looked out onto a flat roof that could do...

Having stayed here previously one two occasions, there was nowhere else in mind for our stay this time around. Travelled down from Newcastle upon Tyne for a weekend, friendly greetings from the staff and immediately made to feel welcome. Rooms are nice and we're perfect for our trip, comfy bed, nice deep bath for a soak in the evening and...

Went with a group from church for the carvery and had a lovely evening. The food was really nice and every choice of meat was cooked perfectly. Great choice of vegetables and was topped up regularly. The staff where very friendly and helpful and despite being busy they took the time to have a chat and a laugh. Will most...

Hotel staff extremely welcoming and very helpful and chatty. We were in the old part of the hotel which was oak beams and uneven floors but quite good fun and absolutely fine for one evening. Have rated this down as the pub (a bit of a pool bar) advertised food in the seperate restaurant; but it was only on a...

Check-in straight forward but informed that because they had done a Carvery for Sunday lunch, the restaurant would not be serving in the evening (obviously once a day is enough) asked for recommendations, the receptionist suggested Wetherspoons or Wimpey (lol) but didn't mention the great Chinese restaurant just across the roundabout. The room was adequate, tea & coffee making facilities,...

A warm welcome awaits you at the Rose and Crown Hotel at Haverhill. The rooms are spotlessly clean, nicely decorated with soft carpets, the beds are comfortable and there are ample pillows with cosy duvets. Not all of the 10 rooms have bathrooms, mine did and it was clean and well maintained with a selection of shower gels and mini...

Booked 2 nights in June in the bridal suite for a family get together. Room was very comfortable and clean. Ample parking out back. One of the best things about the place is the welcome from Keith who has obvious pride in his hotel. Would definitely stay again

We spent an overnight visit here. Not very impressionable. Room was supposed to be redecorated it was but not very well, and the notice on the back of the door part off read 'take off your boots any mess will be charged' made us laugh. Saying all that the beds were comfy the pillows were wonderful, wish I could find...
