Just returned from a stay at Cliff House Camping Site. What a fabulous location - next to Minsmere R.S.P.B. reserve with rare reed beds and heath land - all within a short walking distance. The site has retained a very natural environment. In the early morning we saw Muntjac deer next to our motor home. However we would like to...

We returned for a second time to spend new year's holiday at Cliff House in our camper van. This is a lovely site with wonderful surroundings and is excellent for walking on the heath or the beach. Generally very peaceful and relaxing. Great too to have the bar and restaurant on site. Sadly, however, during our stay this time there...

I stayed at Cliff House as I wished to spent four days in and around RSPB Minsmere. As previous reviews have said, it's on the doorstep to Dunwich Heath and a few hundred meters further on from there you're in the beach entrance of the Reserve. The Receptionists were more than helpful with my enquiries. I was in my small...

This site is perfect for walking Dunwich Heath (opposite entrance) or along the beach (steps down from site). Lovely big pitches, hot showers, clean toilet block, attractive wooded surroundings. We hope to return before the end of the year. Someone told us the Sunday roasts are the best they've ever tasted so we are looking forward to trying them out!

This was our first trip out with new home after several years of not camping at all. Lady on reception was exceptionally helpful when I booked and advised on which pitch she thought would suit our needs best. Arrived later than planned about 6-30 and reception still open and warden guided in the twilight to our pitch. Site was relative...

I stayed here in August with my two boys (4 and 9 months) We had two pitches, one for our camper and one for our tent. We had lots of room. Site very tidy and nice play area for the kids. Toilet and showers were also very clean which is always good ! Great location for the beach - lots...

Well stocked shop, open til 8pm during the week so handy for wine! Great sized pitch under a canopy of pine, kept us cool during the day and meant we didn't get soaked by the rain at night. Steps down to a beaufiful pristine beach, sandy at low tide. Great reception staff - friendly, charming and knowledgeable. Clean toilets and...

WOW!! What a great site, predominantly caravans, campers & lodges but, this only makes the camping better!! Pitches are roomy, shower/toilet blocks were clean & surprisingly empty with constant hot water. This site has its own stoney beach which was empty most of the time, dogs are welcome & allowed to run free on the beach, fires allowed in a...

Very well set out. Quiet and family orientated. Only issue was the smoke off the barbeques on the beach on the Saturday. Camp shop was a bit pricey. The site is right next to the beach and on some great walks, including rspb minsmere. Perfectly placed for Suffolk coast exploration. Facilities were clean......and they never ran out of toilet roll!...
