Great little B&B . Ideally situated, with parking, ensuite rooms , great breakfast and very clean establishment , with parking. I am afraid the downside is the lack of descent restaurants in Hunstanton . Dreadful pubs and restaurant's which stop serving food at 7.30 , in May!!!

Hi, thanks for your lovely review. There are a few restaurants in town - Chives being one - but it is very popular and you really need to reserve a table to guarantee being able to eat there. We do offer the option of eating here at The Shellbrooke between 6-8pm, but you would need to book as we only...

Lovely clean b&b. Hearty breakfast & god location. About 40mins leisurely stroll across the beach to Old Hunstanton & a choice of good pubs. The beach at Brancaster was beautiful on a clear spring day.We were very lucky with the weather 😀

We stayed for two nights over Easter & stayed in the Seaview room at the front of the hotel. It was light & spacious with a large TV on the wall & nice biscuits to go with your tea or coffee. Breakfast was varied & plentiful & the hotel also offered an evening meal on request although we were out...

We had a lot of good service for our two nights of stay. It had a good sized room for me, a 14 year old boy, and I shared a twin suite. The beds were very comfy, however one of the beds almost collapsed, but was easily fixed, and our television had good quality. So all in all we had...

From the moment you arrive Mark and Jacquie make you feel welcome. Rooms are maintained to a very high standard and the breakfast is the icing on the cake . The full English is highly recommended, be warned though if you opt for this you may wish to skip lunch as the breakfast is very filling. Very laid back and...

Ideal room for 1-2, I stayed in 13 at the top! - Shower works ! The TV works and the kettte and ironing board are perfect. For a hotel by the coast this is awesome - it's probably the best hotel in the most beautiful town I've ever had the absolute privilege to work in. The design is good and...

We had a two night stay this week, Mark and Jacqui were great hosts. Food was lovely. We were upgraded in room on arrival which was lovely. We had the room featured in and on there web site and that was very clean and tidy. No complaints ! Overall a great weekend

I stayed for a weekend recently and was very impressed with the shellbrooke. I was visiting family in the area and Karen went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. Beds comfortable and perfectly poached eggs for breakfast. I will definitely return.

The Shellbrooke is comfortable, friendly, peaceful, very well decorated and maintained, spotlessly clean and value for money. We were made welcome by Karen, the owner, who did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast set us up well each day; not only are the portion sizes generous, but the food is freshly cooked with obvious care - no sitting around...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to The Shellbrooke, a property built, as a family home in the 1870's, of traditional Norfolk carrstone. With 13 rooms we welcome guests visiting the area for a family break, bird watching, walking, playing golf, cycling or more energetically, kite surfing and windsurfing, or perhaps just chilling out with long walks along the coast and romantic sunsets over the sea. We hope to provide you with clean, modern and comfortable accommodation, locally sourced food cooked by an award winning chef, and a variety of drinks, allowing you to relax and unwind. We are conveniently located just 2 minutes from Hunstanton's sandy beach, which regularly achieves Blue Flag status, and where there are myriad colourful and traditional seaside attractions for all the family, including beach front attractions, recently refurbished SeaLife Centre and Sanctuary, funfair, bandstand concerts on the green and a small selection of shops and cafes. Hunstanton was originally built as a Norfolk seaside resort in the nineteenth century, and still retains its Victorian charm and character, remaining a popular holiday destination for all ages. The hotel's communal areas are comfortable and relaxing, with modern contemporary decor, and we have a fully licensed hotel restaurant which is open to residents and non-residents alike (prior booking is advised) offering a table d'hote menu every evening. If there is anything we can do to make your holiday more enjoyable and relaxing, then please ask us - we are here to help.We have limited off road parking for our guests, which is available on a first come first served basis. We look forward to welcoming you to The Shellbrooke.Shellbrooke Guest House Hunstanton ~ Bed And Breakfast Hunstanton ~ Hotel Hunstanton ~ B&B Hunstanton ~ Guest Houses Hunstanton ~ Where To Stay In Hunstanton ~ Hotels In Hunstanton ~ Hotel Accommodation Hunstanton ~ Bird Watching In Hunstanton ~ Metal Detecting In HunstantonSearch Engine Optimisation (SEO) By Unitel DirectGet Listed With Business Internet Finder ... more   less
