A 6 bedroom, all en-suite, country hotel/inn/restaurant in the Norfolk countryside by a river. Good sized rooms. Quiet, being at the end of a cul-de-sac. Excellent meals served and all by very friendly staff.

Lovely setting and relaxed atmosphere. Nice food and good choice on the menu. We both had a burger which was very tasty. They were very Accommodating to us with a pram and baby. The staff were very friendly too

Still likely the best place in the greater Fakenham area, we have been here 3 times now but there are some lingering and now emerging concerns that makes me believe an fresh infusion of energy and quality is needed. I really like the owners, staff and location and hope they'll take the steps necessary to stay competitive in the NNorfolk...

We stayed for one night at the Mill and stayed in room 2, overlooking the river. This was a perfect location for a quiet romantic night away. We ate in the restaurant and the staff were friendly and really helpful. Dinner delicious and breakfast too. There are walks available from the hotel and in summer this would be an amazing...

This country pub is off the main road. It took us a while to find it. The restaurant and the toilet were very clean when we were there. It indicates good hygiene standard. Food standard is good and portions are generous. As it was early evening, the service was efficient.

I went for a meal with two old friends whom I had not seen for some time. I was amazed at the menu and chose, on recommendation, the sausage and mash. I was not disappointed. It was served with delicious vegetables mixed in with the mash, greens cooked to perfection and onion rings that were light and crisp. The sausages...

Recovering from 2 operations, i wanted a place that was tranquil and relaxing. Lovely setting by the river, pleasant gardens to sit in, excellent food large portions) although we ate from the specials board only, and excellent beer. Just what i needed. Accommodation was clean and comfortable.

Sculthorpe Mill is located down a narrow country lane, with beautiful views and a lovely stream outside. I stayed two nights and enjoyed a delicious breakfast both mornings, as well as a great dinner the first night. The bed was enormous and very comfortable, everything was clean and the service was very attentive. The bathrooms are all equipped with macerators,...

This pub is tucked away down a narrow lane but is well worth seeking out. It is signposted off the A148. The setting by the river is just magical, especially on a warm summers day or evening and if the weather is not so clement then the inside is bright, warm & welcoming. The food & service are second to...
