Stayed here for 2 nights. Pleasant staff, very good meals, both dinner and breakfast. Nice room, very clean. The lady in charge of housekeeping was extremely friendly and could not do enough for us. Enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

We stayed here for one night and at £80 for the night with breakfast thought it was very good value compared to other places we stayed. We were in room 1 which was a really nice room, lovely shower and a bed on a raised platform. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful.. We didn't...

Interesting place, listed buildings, dear little cottages, Food was good, Breakfast and service of it was second to none. Room was well planned, comfy bed, super reading light, Sadly the bathroom was a complete let down. I was under the wrong impression that the room was suitable for a disabled person, big mistake, No way for me to shower being...

We live locally so this is a great place to pop in for lunch, and we always feel it's more of an occasion that going to a pub. Hadn't been for a while, and chose to go there with friends. Always a great welcome from the lovely staff, very pleasant eating area and bar, with comfy sofas scattered around, making...

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and the hotel is scrupulously clean. We invited friends for dinner and enjoyed a good and generous meal at a very reasonable price. The service was good and they left us in peace to chat after we had finished. I would recommend this hotel.

We have stayed both in the attached cottage and in the hotel. Both times we had a lovely time. The breakfast is included as part of the package. The staff are polite, patient and helpful. We attended a wedding in the hotel, the event was very professionally dealt with, food was good and again staff couldn't do enough to help....

My hubby and I really loved this hotel. When we first arrived in the car park we were a bit "meh" but when shown our room we were very pleased indeed. Reasonable price for a large room, nicely decorated overlooking a lovely garden. Very unexpected. Another unexpected thing from first impression was that the food in the restaurant was really...

Set price lunch during the week. This hotel has a restaurant/bar that is open to the public at all times. Meals can be eaten at tables which you do not necessarily have to book. We had two courses from a menu offering a good choice, freshly cooked and served attractively. Excellent value

Working locally the Park Hotel is ideal to meet clients over coffee, lunch or dinner. The staff are very good and friendly and the food reasonably priced and of a consistently high standard. They also offer a popular Sunday carvery.

Should have stayed here last night but there was a mistake on the dates (their fault and apologies accepted - no problem) they found us a lovely B + B 10 mins away and it was excellent. We had also booked an evening meal here so was asked to still come for the dinner and as an apology this was...
