Nice location even though a bit far from the beach (you need a car). And that was the ONLY good thing about this hotel. ......The owner, the rudest person we have ever met, unacceptable for this job! Poor breakfast, poor wi fi and the worst of all, the piscine had not been cleansed for ages, it looked more like a...

Visited Tinos island with my family. The reservation was just not there when we arrived and were forced to stay in a nearby apartment instead. The manager was at least arrogant and did not even apologize for the inconvenience or lack of communication. As I found out later we were not the only ones facing similar circumstances. The facilities are...

Fortunately (!!) we didn't stay here but we did use the swimming pool pretty much daily as our neighbouring apartments didn't have a pool and it was often too windy too enjoy the beach (being whacked in the back by the sunbed every time you sit up!) We were normally the only people using the pool (myself, my mum and...

The hotel itself was ok, the girl in the reception very kind and helpful, the rooms comfortable although some things were not working (tv control). We had an internal door (locked of course) with the next room which was not very nice in terms of quiet. The main disadvantages of the hotel is its location, it is not very close...

We have visited Tinos on February 2016 with our friends to spend the remaining week of our annual leave at Hotel Porto Tango. We were very impressed by the hospitality and the service we received was excellent. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated with various paintings. Our menu was based on local and organic products which we found...

I'm giving Porto Tango two stars for the location and the view and the basic amenities. Unfortunately, the owner should not be in the hospitality business. He is rude and duplicitous. He clearly tries to do everything as cheaply as possible, was unhelpful to us when we asked for something. He added charges to our bill that we disagreed with...

The owner was very kind to us during our stay in August 2014. He told us the history of the property, pointed out interesting features of the hotel and was so sweet to give us a jar of delicious homemade sour cherries - which we were delighted to eat on homemade greek yoghurt for several days thereafter our visit. The...

Below you can see my review (broken down in sections) for Porto Tango hotel in Tinos. We stayed there during our summer vacations in August 2013. An email reached my inbox with an offer regarding this hotel and we booked it without checking further as my wife had stayed there 9 years ago and had a good experience. I did...

For 40 euro/night it's ok... For more than this price, the hotel is definitely not recommended. It does not come up to the expectations of a 4* hotel. It seems a little bit abandoned, and the worst is the behaviour of the owner.

We booked this hotel because looking at the pictures it seemed like the best hotel in Tinos. In reality the hotel is a ghost town with the main restaurant serving only maybe three diferent choices of meals (no menu) and the other restaurant was closed. The gym is like a museum with nothing working. Propbably everyone who works there is...

Thank for your review However it is hard to believe that on August , high season for cyclades islands, a hotel in Tinos is empty and like ghost town!!! Moreover the fact that we are compared with Galini which is rooms to let in town with no view at all built in 1960 !! drive us to think in a...
