The cleaning lady we never saw, our deposit was stolen. They were brutal. Dont come to here. The bathroom was too small. Several things were rotten. Only the swimming pool was a positive point. Stay away!
I had a great time at Adams Apartments. The people were very nice and hospitable and my friend and me had a lot of fun at the bar thanks to the amazing bartender Giorgos who also gave us nice tips for places to visit. The pool was great and the appartement is well located, close to the beach, bus station, and shops. I would strongly recommend it!
just typical greek, simple stay. Nothing fancy. The staff,is the best!! Cant say anything bad about them, always helpfull and smiling. George(vogatis) and mike, are the best bartenders . Simple food, and delicious drink.
We weren't expecting much, but were still disappointed. It's not really an apartment - it's a hotel room with a sink and a hot plate, but with less service and cleaning than a hotel would have. The kitchen is terrible and not really suited for anything other than making a cup of tea in the morning. You'll end up buying so much stuff that it would have been cheaper to just get a hotel with breakfast included. Things like toilet paper and stuff to wash the dishes with and trash bags are not provided. In our week here there has been a change of sheets and towels once and no cleaning. They don't even take out the trash so you have to go find a bin somewhere else, like at the supermarket, to get rid of your trash. You are not allowed to bring your own food and drink to the pool, which would make sense for a hotel maybe, but not for an apartment. The prices they charge for food and drink at the pool are the highest we paid anywhere on Crete, including restaurants right by the beach. The food is also the worst we had, so we ended up driving to nicer and cheaper beaches and not using the pool. The room was quite cold because a window was broken, so we slept under a pile of blankets while swatting away at the mosquitoes that kept coming in. There's hardly any sound from outside, but it's very noisy when people close their doors or use the elevator. I can sleep through anything but my fiance hardly slept at all. The worst part was the shower, which had absolutely no warm water whatever time of day (or night) we tried it. It would give us a minute of tepid water then go cold, so we ended up not showering for a week, and just having a little catwash using the electric kettle to produce some warmer water. I imagine the shower wouldn't be such a problem in the middle of summer when cooling off is awesome, but in October it's just not ok. Yes it's a cheap place, but that doesn't mean you can't expect basic facilities like a working shower and windows that aren't broken. Definitely would not recommend, just get a hotel, because you won't cook here anyway. …
I have stayed at Adams Apartments for seven nights in the beginning of September. When I booked the place I was still a bit sceptical, I expected a basic place. It turned out to be much more! The complex itself is pretty basic. The apartment was clean, spacious and had enough facilities (bathroom, a kitchen and two rooms). Although you had to pay for the AC and housekeeping only came once a two days, you still pay for what you get. The guests varied from adolescents that came to party to seniors who enjoy their peace. The best thing about our stay were the employees. The bartenders were amazingly kind, enthousiastic and hospitable. They definitley adams apartments worth your while. Props to them for making our stay there positivly memorable. Definitley a recommendation!
Low standard , but alright for the price. Nice pool, kind service. Good stuff to eat till 18.00 About 30 minutes walk to the beach ( starbeach) 15 minutes to the supermarket( down Hill) 20 up Hill ! Very noisy surrounding. Streetdogs, cars, disco, chicken, roosters. Using the safe or the airconditioning costs extra.
Good appartments only the matrasses are old and hard because the springs, the shower was small I had a nice view from my balcony, mountain and sea side 3rd floor. Nice swimmingpool, owners and crew are very friendly. Nice and good price drinks/meals Not so far to the sandbeach of Star Beach
I always enyoy my stay at Adams. It has a central location between Chersonissos (a little down the road) and Koutouloufari wich has some excellent restaurants. The people who work at Adams make you feel special and that is what hospitality is all about
Apartments that are a bit basic and outdated in styling and furniture. Bad room is not very practical. You must almost climb over the toilet bowl to get into the shower stall. Brown tiles is a bit 1980's. But everything works fine. Would be nice if they offer a more extensive cleaning service. Great pool and great pool bar and most important and great staff. Location great for Start beach but a bit far if your main goal is city centre. BE aware it is not an hotel but an apartment complex.
We enjoyed our stay there. The appartments were a little bit dated, especially the shower in our room, but overall it was very clean and nice. Also you get pretty good view even from on the first floor. The staff is really friendly. Bartenders at the poolbar were really awesome, really amazing people. The pool is clean and really nice, there's not a lot of lounges, though they were always free, most people go to the beach. Every friday(?) they have a barbeque with dancers. It's in a pretty quiet street, which was really nice. It's really close to Star Beach (5 min walk downhill). There's a lot of shops down too. Strip (barstreet) was pretty far on the other end of the main street. We did walk there when going out, though we did take a taxi on our way back for 7 euros. When you go to the right from the appartments a little bit up you'll get to Koutouloufari, very cute place with lots of nice little shops and places to eat. There was one place where you could eat on the rooftop, really nice. I can't remember how it was called. Overall it was a good choice to go there, we got more than what we paid for. Staff was really awesome which made us love that place. I would recommend this place.…
