We had a short trip at Kalimpong during end of March 2021. During pandemic times, we were a little skeptical regarding our vacation. However sales department of Sinclair's Kolkata Ms Rumpa arranged our stay both at Kalimpong and Darjeeling without any hitch. We liked their property at Kalimpong. On arrival they upgraded our room to Attic room which was great and huge with great mountain view balcony. The food and service were also great at Sinclair's. I really recommend anyone visiting Kalimpong to stay at Sinclair's
The Property is located almost at the top of the hill with beautiful view all arround . Rooms are clean and very specious . The restuarant is well decorated with hillside view . Special thanks to Soni, shovan and Sabina for excellence hospitality. Certainly , will visit again .
Really good hotel with excellent facilities. Rooms were well maintained and clean. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Would like to specifically thank Mr. Goutam from the front desk for all the help extended to make our trip enjoyable.
I had a pleasant & comfortable stay at Sinclairs Kalimpong. The property is very beautiful & well maintained .There are many game zones for kids as well as for elders. The food was just amazing & mouth watering. A special mention for Soni,Shovan,Sabina ,chef Sujit and chef Nithesh Thankyou all for your kind behaviour & awesome food . Looking forward to visit again & also to recommend others.
Pros: 1. Sprawling well kept property in a serene location, with lots of recreational facilities, that are well maintained. 2. Rooms are spacious even by the competition standards. The fireplace is an added perk (chargeable though) 3. All rooms come with balconies with good view. The 100 series of rooms are close to the centre of activities and good for elderly. 4. Staff are very efficient and well mannered, catering to your needs. Special mention of Ms Kabita, Ms Sakuntala, Mr Swastik and Mr Sunil. 5. Special mention of the restaurant. Rarely do good hotels come with good restaurants, but this is an exception. The food is fabulous. Cons: 1. Conveyance is very expensive. Considering the location, the transport to city proper can be a bit more reasonable. 2. A bit more light in the rooms will not be very bad. 3. Considering the standard of the hotel and the guests it accommodates, having no wifi in the room is a big letdown. I had to sit in the lounge for almost 4 hrs for some urgent work which is the only place where wifi is available. 4. A bit more items in the toiletries will be good. To keep in mind, the hotel is about 6-7 km from Kalimpong Market area. You've to depend on the hotel conveyance by and large for communication to the town. Will I visit again?? "Maybe yes"!! "Certainly yes" if the wifi and conveyance issue is dealt with.…
