We were there on a family trip during January 2022. We had booked a double bedded room booked but got a free upgrade to an Attic Room. The room had an amazing view of the mountains from it's private balcony. It was spacious with 4 beds, a modern bathroom, they had provided a room heater without any extra cost. The food was really good, we had ordered dishes outside the menu including fish dishes, and we were surprised at the taste. The fish was fresh, the food was not at all oily but very tasty indeed. A special thanks to Gunjan Gupta (Regional Sales Manager, Sinclairs Hotels), and Debashish (In-charge of FnB at Sinclairs Retreat, Kalimpong), they not only helped me get a booking at the last minute but were also kind enough to arrange for a property tour for my YouTube vlog Hastag Tiluda. The Resort is spread over 5 acres of land, it contains various types of rooms of different budgets. Best part is, you can enjoy the warmth of a fireplace at a minimal price. Housekeeping was excellent, they had kept the entire property spick and span even during the lockdown with reduced staff. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Kalimpong.

Had stayed at sinclairs Retreat kalimpong premier attic room 110 for 3 nights . The resort is paradise on Earth. The food , the view from the room, the surrounding everything is top notch. If one wants to fall in love with kalimpong ,Sinclairs in the place to stay Location- Just few kms away from the hustle and bustle of the city, perfect for anyone who is looking for calm and serene environment Views and surroundings - All the rooms are mountain facing , although it is preferable to take attic rooms or suites for clear view The garden ,pool is so well maintained one can spend the entire day at the resort

Tranquil, open, green space, on outskirts of the town. Enjoy luxurious comfort and peace of mind in midst of nature. Perfect environment for love to bloom.
The rooms are spacious and with balcony opening towards the garden and hills. There are a few cottages too. Food was also good. One can choose to dine at the hall or in privacy of their rooms. A candle light dinner will surely boost up the mood for couples.
Badminton court, table tennis board, gym, swimming pool are available. There is also a wide garden with different flowers and plants to take a walk. Kids have a designated area to play.
The open rooftop area provides a beautiful view in morning as well as night. Photography enthusiast can get some good shots.
I appreciate the green initiative of providing glass bottles with RO+UV filtered water. This will reduce usage of plastic bottles. Just ask and you get fresh water whenever you need.

It was the most pleasant stay among the ones we ever had. Soven, Sabina and Sonny helped us a lot in the dining place by giving the right combination of foods. Swastik and Kabita from housekeeping had done a great job in cleaning our rooms and providing sufficient water bottles. Ms. Bimit from reception had cooperated with us a lot. One more man whose name I don't know was at the reception. We had to make printouts of some important information. He had helped us by printing them out which was a great help because without the printout, it would have been impossible to complete our personal work. Overall it was an excellent experience. Actually, I would like to thank all the staff of Sinclairs who had done such a good job in making an awesome and spectacular ambience. Salute to the great team effort. Starting from rooms to food, everything was impeccable. Also a breathtaking and picturesque view of Darjeeling from the balcony of our room was what made our day. A big Thank You to the whole group of staffs and hotel management of Sinclairs, Kalimpong for organising such a wonderful stay inspite of the Covid-19 situation.

We booked premier plus room through MMT. Whwn we reached, the room we were given was on ground floor, with gaps in curtains and blind and open balcony to garden area. We were a bit worried as we were traveling with our little daughter regarding security issue, it was room on the last part of resort and just few rooms had occupants. We asked for upgradation, reception said extra charges, finally we agreed,but suddenly they upgraded us to attic room without any charges. A good gesture from their side. Property was secluded from city, you've to call a car by paying charges if you want to go to town. But good well maintained property if you want to enjoy the serenity and staying amidst nature. Attic room was spacious, food we ordered was good, housekeeping services were good. One problem, wifi is available only in lobby area.

The place is great, the resort is very well managed. There are lots of option to spend time in the resort itself. Th restuarent and food is very good. The breakfast spread is worth mentioning. Needless to say in these times, the housekeeping staff (Sunil Acharya, Trishna, Tara) maintained a very hygienic surroundings and during our stay, our room was well taken care of. Overall it was a great experience.

This is a really late post but as they say, better late than never. We, a family of 3 adults travelled to Kalimpong in March 2019 and stayed at Sinclairs. The place was really beautiful . There were pretty lawns with colourful flowers and aesthetic lighting. Our room was really spacious with antique wooden furniture and a small balcony. The balcony overlooked the garden and commanded a view of the lush green surroundings. The Hills were visible from most of the rooms, however we were unlucky and got only cloudy weather and so missed a chance to view the mighty Kanchenjunga right from our room. However, the overall experience more than made up for our disappointment. There was also a little play area with TT carrom and other such indoor games, which we surely did enjoy. The food was awesome and they also offered some custom made dishes apart from the ones in the menu. The dining room opened to a verandah which faced the hills of Darjeeling. At night you could see Darjeeling lit up with thousands of tiny dots of lights and it surely made a very beautiful site. The travel desk was also very helpful and arranged cars for our local sightseeing. The staff was courteous polite and welcoming. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone we know.

A wonderful stay at Sinclairs Kalimpong . The staff is really good and courteous. The food is really great....they have variety of option. A very good stay for a comfy and peaceful. We stayed with 2 kid around 2 years of age at Premier Plus Rooms & it was nicely cleaned up & comfortable. No doubt whenever we demanded for room-service the staffs were always happily there in no time. Behavior of the staffs were extremely polite and supportive. From room service team Sovan, Sabina, Debasish has helped us at the dining place with the baby food and all whatever we required. From House keeping team Sardha, Swastik, Tara, Mikma, Sunil, Norden & from reception Ms Bimit Lepcha whose behavior were outstanding.
It was again a recommended stay in Kalimpong if you want to hug the nature & breathe fresh. But the property is around 6kms from town & travelling in hills by car rentals is always somewhat costly.
