This property is bit on the outskirts of Puri but its better to stay here as you can enjoy better on this side of the beach. There is a beach right in front of the hotel which is without much rush and stalls. You can enjoy the natural beach over here. Though this property is under maintenance, better you check you room before your stay. The staff at the restaurant is very good and better you take food over here rather than venturing at any other places as we were not able to find a better food then this place.

This hotel is Under maintenance…pls check before you booking. It was very tough to tolerate the noise of Hammer and drill for the whole day. I have booked two rooms in July 2023. Everything was great except the noise of construction works. When complained to receptionist..sorry sir came in reply and simply they said that they can’t do anything….so pls don’t book this hotel unless you are sure that construction work is not going on.

This place is unhygienic. The rooms are full of damp. The switchboards are broken. Food is priced as if it is some kinda 5 stsr hotel. It's not. Most of the staff are rude and will explain things to you in a very condescending manner. They don't even care to clean the balcony or change bedsheets if you are not present. If you ask them to do their job, they will yell at you. WiFi speed is not even 3 mbps. If you are living in the Tata wing, all the best. For anything you ask for, they will state it is not available for TATA EMPLOYEES. They have the worst of worst rooms here. Apparently TATA EMPLOYEES don't deserve basic clean rooms and services going by their behaviour . It almost feels like discrimination on some other level. Everyday a new thing breaks down. It will feel less of a vacation and more of a stresscation. Unless you like to be humiliated, discriminated against(TATA PEOPLE), love damp rooms, love to overpay, my suggestion would be, book a different hotel and don't even consider this so called property named EMPIRES. Irony i'd say. …

This is the most pathetic hotel I have ever stayed in. Please do not go by the photos they have put. They are absolutely misleading. Very very unhygienic. Lady at the reception is extremely rude. Overall experience was if a local hotel.

This hotel staff are doing very bad behaviour to driver.. I am also a driver. They had no restroom for drivers.. they don't allow the driver in hotel's lobby.. it's one kind of insult to a driver. Big property with poor amenities and infrastructure, bathrooms are horrible and you can play with spiders inside. Though number of rooms are quite high but bottles water inside is 120 each. So please carry your own water if you don’t want to pay for five star

I am sorry that you faced so many problems in our property. Our property is undergoing renovation, to provide more facilities to our guests. Unknowingly a costly brand of Mineral water had been produced in front of you. But there are mineral waters costing Rs. 20/- a bottle, which sell the most.

The hospitality extended is extremely good at the hotel .The ambience of the hotel is superb ,with dedicated staff.I donot words to explin the excellent behaviour of the staff.Mr Sanjeev,Mr pavithra and Mr Vivek are doing tremendous job at the forefront counter .They deserve special appreciation for the work .Food is well.prepard and hygeine. This is located at the far end of Puri and the beach is clean and less crowded. The rooms are okay, and you get very limited sea visibility from the balcony. The breakfast buffet was good, but otherwise, the food was very poor and expensive. The cost of a glass of milk is 110.

I am sitansu kar . I have visited the property on 15th May 2022 with my family for lunch in restaurant. I have received hurrible service from there. 1- There was no welcome drinks /papad. I asked for 13 mocktails( any flavours), the concern person told me there is no mocktails . We can serve only soft drinks . After some time he came and told me juice can be served. Then I have ordered 3 water milon juice which is served after 30 minutes .Thank you Gadadhar ( captain ) for arranging 10 mocktails for my family. 2 - Service was too late, there was no response from F&B team . 3- Food taste was worst . All the items are so sweet . Mainly all the non veg items are too sweet. 4- We had received better service in Empire hotel paradeep . But this time everything is worst in here . Experience was so bad . The excuses are due to the less staff issues . 5- Finally we are spending money for our family, if they are not happy with the service then automatically it is worst of money to prefer star hotel . We stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days attending a family marriage.The view of the ocean was amazing from the suite's balcony..Thanks to Sushant for all the arrangements to make the wedding a grand and memorable one.I found all the rooms are good but didn't like the looks of the suite much because of the Fire hydrants systems were visibly visible in the living area.And the distance from the suite to elevator is too far as well as you have to climb few stairs to reach the elevator..May be a problem for senior citizens.Food was awesome.Staffs were very cooperative.Rooms were clean.
